  • Thank you, that makes sense, I've been losing with mfp's formula so far. What is BMR and how do I figure out mine?
  • Okay, so I need this to be idiot proof. Right now MFP says I am to be eating about 2,000 calories per day. I am losing weight. Most days I am a little less than the 2000, occasionally a little more. Do the number of calories change as I lose. . .why. . .how does it work. If this question has been answered a hundred times,…
  • Congrates. The funny part for me is. . .they don't quite know what it is. They say something is different, but they can't quite put their finger on it. I just smile. I know it's because I've lost enough weight that I no longer look like I stuck my thumb in my mouth and blew really hard.

  • sorry for your loss.
  • I'm a little sore. . .LOL, but I can kayak too, boat was in the water yesterday.
  • Heather, LMAO. I loved the part about keeping your kids safe. My husband needs that same protection. Come to think of it so does the kid working at Happy Harry's who commented on my sweet tooth when I bought a bag of chocolate covered raisins, a bag of peanut brittle, a bag of sweet and salty trail mix and a box of…
  • I'm on week eight too. Good for you. Keep it up.
  • Thank you. I felt a little silly posting that, but if it gives someone a little of what I have, it's worth it.
  • I can tie my shoes in the middle now, instead of putting my foot on my knee and tieing them on the side. I can cross my legs now, can't put my right foot behind my left calf yet, but it'll come. Funny I didn't realize what pound I gained that made me unable to do these things. I feel a little better everyday. I've walked…
  • Remember (this works for me when I am discouraged) you didn't become this size overnight. When you walked in your office no one said my goodness it looks like you've gained 15 pounds, and most of them won't say my goodness it looks like you've lost 15 pounds. It took about 30 days of walking 40 minutes per day before my…
  • granted but you'll be wide awake at bedtime. I wish that cheese fries were healthy.
  • Loved it. Only 140 calories and low fat too. Just what I needed for my sweet tooth.
  • In a previous time in my life I was a banquet manager and a very popular hors de voure was honey dew melon and prosciutto ham. I thought prosciutto was high in calories and I had fat free ham and cantelope so that was lunch. Not sure if I'd have canteloupe on pizza. . .but stranger things have happenen.
  • Wow this was a great combination and low in fat and calories.
  • :blushing:
  • I did great on all of my foods. Apparently 7 heineken beers is too much. Oh well, once in a blue moon. :drinker: , back at it today.
  • Thanks all, a one a day is on my shopping. Turkey is off the lunch list. Thanks bunches!
  • I had a healthy lunch, small salad and turkey w/ff cheese on light oatmeal bread, some grapes and a couple of pretzel rods. I feel like I could fall asleep at my desk. Honestly, if I didn't think I'd drool all over paper work, I'd do it. I have been walking 2 1/2 miles every morning and evening for about three weeks now.…
  • I have days like that. It looks like you made good choices with food. Don't go into the evening thinking you blew it and then really blow it. Check your foods and figure out dinner and don't beat yourself up.
  • Thank you all.
  • Okay the lower part of the back of my legs, and sometimes the right foot down by the heal, burn 15 minutes into my walk and continue til end. I weigh 240 and have been walking twice daily for about two weeks. I am up to 5 miles per day. The pain is not bad enough to stop but uncomfortable. Maybe some stretchin ideas?
  • Good stuff. Thank you.
  • awesome, thanks for the ideas.
  • This is a trigger place for me. I binge eat, and this is one of the places I do that.
  • I'm following a pretty healthy menu, but I am falling short on protein. Looking for ideas.
  • No problem. Need inspiration. . .check out this girls website. Whenever I want to give up, I check it out. Amazing transformation!
  • This was easy and good. I found it on http://members.cox.net/ladegodyva, filling and tasty. She uses the ww point system. It's low in fat, high in protein and good. I made tuna salad for today's lunch while the chicken was cooking. My husband even liked it. :) Layered Mexican Chicken POINTS® value | 6 (5 if you use just 2…
