I verify the info on the database against labels, manufacturer websites and the usda. That's the best anyone can really do.

^^^ Couldn't agree with this more. Totally classless. I'm sorry you have such ppl as neighbors. Keep the music cranked and your eyes to sky! :drinker:

I started out with DVD's (even though you don't necessarily need them to work out at home). Some good ones: Jillian Michaels: 30 Shred, Ripped in 30, Banish Fat Boost Metabolism, No More Trouble Zones & Yoga Meltdown Bob Harper: Total Body Transformation, Ultimate Cardio Body Jackie Warner: Xtreme Timesaver Training…

I always though L2 was harder than 3!

I think I see the most change in my body when I rest. I try to rest at least once a week, but if my body is begging for more, then I give it more. Listening to your body is the most important. You'll learn when you really do need a break or if your body is just trying to be lazy. =D

^^^^I agree with this!! :flowerforyou:

You should tell your co-worker that nosey wears much worse than a bag of popcorn does.

Exercising and eating more of the good fats (nuts, avocados, olive oil, etc) helps to raise your good cholesterol. When I was doing Insanity and P90X last year my good cholesterol was through the roof, however my bad cholesterol was a little high (although within limits). Eating less meat (I try to eat only 6-8 ounces a…

I didn't really notice changes until around the 3rd week.

I say, don't track the sugar and track your sodium. That 3-5 lbs you want to lose could just be water weight you're carrying right now.

Protein shake, Oats w/protein or Greek Yogurt w/fruit are my go-to's.

Try protein and veggies with every meal, and piece of fruit or berries with nuts and/or cheese in between.

I say get ALL of the sweets out of the house and don't eat any of it for about a month. Wipe your cravings and your palette clean. Then maybe find and adopt recipes on making the things you enjoy in a healthy fashion. This includes fruits and veggies. Try making healthy chocolate, zucchini bread or a chocolate and…

My guess is water weight. Either from increase in sodium intake or TOM.

I'm sure the gain is water weight only. And how about upping your calories by 100 and trying to eat that much for about a month. See if that does anything.

You look FABULOUS!! I just started lifting, and I can only hope my results will be even close to yours. KUDOS! :drinker:

I tried it several years ago and believe me, it really isn't worth it. It's expensive and you will not feel good. 500 calories a day was barely enough to keep my upright at work. I stayed with it for a few months, lost about 20 lbs and then gained it back once I tried to start eating normal again. PLUS, it took a long…

^^^This is exactly what I've done and I don't feel deprived in any way. As a matter of fact, the foods I once found "yummy" I don't find so yummy anymore.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Congrats on your amazing work! You look fantastic. :drinker:

I'd ask what he'd REALLY do

Ube Ice Cream (mixed with a little Mango ice cream is even better)! It's YUM-MY!
