  • I'm so glad to hear other have found this great snack!! I love it!!!! The only prob is it's sooo darn expensive, I have to hide it from my family!!
  • Get yourself healthy first! Then get back on track eating and I say start back up slowly working out, and not getting to your potential till a few days in. Give it another week, then re-access.
  • I never realized it was so off!! I LOVE skinless thighs!! I actually buy the bone in w/ skin and remove skin and bone myself!! It's really easy! They pan sear soo quick too once the bone is gone! Great for stir frys! I usually only eat 3 oz. The best advise I can say is check the back of the package you buy it in!!
  • I've wondered that too!! I acxtually started on 1300 cals, wasn't losing, so I upped it a few hundred, and started loosing. NOW, here I am losing again, and I'm affraid ti lower it down again!! But I do remember on The Biggest Loser that Bob had said during a comercial break that for every 5lbs lost, you need to adjust you…
  • I think thats a wonderful thing!! ANY loss is great none are too small!! Congrats to you!! Look at it this week, it's a steady 1/4 lb a week!! I too have PCOS and was diagnosed when I was 29, and I too hold onto weight like nobodies buss! But I am interested in what your dr's say about your body turning the food you eat…

  • It's not written, but they sure can be part of a healthy diet.! And that she was craving bread, and we were trying to give her suggestions and offer support.
  • Don't give up bread complelty! Just make some better choices!! You need the complex carbs and fiber, and a great way to get them is any 100% whole wheat bread, tortilla, pita, bun, roll, and brown rice (not instant) I don't know if your doing Atkins or South Beach, but on most diets, heck in general nutrition, it has to be…
  • HAHA!! AWESOME!!! I love that feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I pretty much wrote the same post last week! I too was working out everyday, running 3 mi, lifting weights, and nothing on the scale but GAINING 4-6 LBS!! So after i completed my first ever 3 mile run w.o stopping, I told myself I will back off the extreme hardcore workouts, and just walk or bike at a moderate pace. Guess…
  • If your dr suggested it, I say set up a plan with your dr, and go in for monthly checkups!!! I used it last year for 3 mo and lost 25 lbs. It worked REALLY well for me. And let me clarify, you only will get leakage/oily stools IF you eat TO much fat!! You are on 1 of 3 calorie plans based on your current weight. 1400 cals/…
  • Thanks! I did stick with it, and tweeking for the last 3 week, my only resort was either eating less, NOOOO!! So like I said I ate a few cals more, cut back my strenuous workouts, and I guess it shocked my body!! For those that are running and ad 1200, it is way to low, I've realized that. There is no way I could go lower!…
  • CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should be very PROUD of yourself!!!!:flowerforyou:
  • I also suffer form PCOS so I know your PAIN!! I have been on a constant diet since having kids it seems! In the beginning I was very ignorant and thought diet pills were the way jusst so i could eat my white bread and butter at every meal!. So fast forward to 15 yrs later and I focus more on healthy options over anything…
  • That is how I base my food!! Its really easy to gage how much to eat per meal, and how much you have left that way! Once you get into the routine of it, its really simple to choose your meals.
  • I am going to "try" to give up coffee AGAIN. LOL! But there is a difference, my routine with coffee is, wake up, drink 3 cups, which takes 3 hours, then I eat breakfast at 9am. Which pushes all my other daily activities and exercises back. And I really dont like it that way! But I like my coffee! So hopefully, if I wake…

  • You can do it! Are you able to have MFP with you on a laptop or cell phone app? I find keeping up with it online REALLY helps!! Just getting into a routine will be the greatest for you right now!!!!!!! Stick with it, your already running, keep it up!! And just try to add a new healthy ways each and everyday!
  • I sooo feel your frustration!! I felt the same way, but looking it over I need to EAT MORE! Look at it this way, if you drop even lower than 1200, what happens if you still dont lose, will you drop even lower say to 700 cals a day?? That would never work! Up your cals 300-400 calories a day. Give your body a boost, but eat…
  • Good for you for trying!!!! I go in and out of loving water. Here's a few tips that help me, - try and drink and finish a large glass of water with every meal. - fill up another between meals, sipping and refilling as needed. Give that a few days, then get yourself a large 20-24 oz water bottle. (which is 3- 8oz glasses)…
  • Thank you all for your AWESOME support and advice!! I am stay at home mom, (all kids are in school all day though!) and I have been very diligent about my nutrition. Water nonstop, fiber, well Fiber One products fill my fridge and cupboards! I even stopped buying prepared convient meals, and make all my own food every…
  • No, no, I've come to far to let it all go down the drain!! I have a pretty good routine of meals, and there isn't any other "bad" food in my house, so i think I will just take this week off logging and hopefully weighing in! I will still exercise, and eat accordingly though. My biggest fear is not weighing in for a week,…
  • Yesterday of course!! (Red wine). I am just getting too obsessed about it all! GRR
  • My sodium is averaging 2400, some days its 1600-1800, and a couple times its spiked at 2700. I am 189 lb today, (last week 186) So I have a good 20-30 to lose, but I don't expect that. I just would like to see SOMETHING for all the work and effort I'm putting into it.
  • I am int he same boat as you. I am currently looking at the Belly Fat Diet book. I have such a big flabby tummy too. I look pregnant, but I'm not and my last baby is 6 1/2 yrs old!! One thing I did cut out was all carbonated drinks. Pop and beer. I wanted to see if the carbonation from them was bloating me, and they were…
  • Yep, when I went on the patch, I gained 10 lbs in 3 mo!! I did have to stay on it for PCOS, and it is really hard to lose with that condition. And yes, it take 3 mo for meds to regulate. BUT, like the above poster said, try not to focus on the # on the scale, but how you feel, can you breath better when taking stairs, do…
  • I use it to bump up my cals/fat if to low!! Its hard to eat healthy, calories are usually way to low per meal, so PB and whole wheat grain bread bumps me up at least 200 cals if I'm low!! And it feels great to eat it!!!
  • Glad I'm not the only one!! I have just started NOT clicking the button at the bottom of the page at the end of the day!! Out of site out of mind!! I don't think it works for anyone!
