none of these posts really answer my query - I was wondering how long to see a difference. not 'how to get fit' etc
-
ok I don't understand half the posts on this thread in 'txt spkk' one can be aerobically fit and able to do a 5k while very heavy and overweight. why? because about an hour of running equals one shop bought pastry. or four hours of walking equals a big mac meal. so yeah I am fit enough to do it, but now I am not eating…

Just to be clear, I am reasonably fit and active and in my 20s. But I tend to walk it and not run, and my diet was very bad hence the weight. How quick would I drop weight now I have cleaned up my diet? Just to be clear, it is not all one long run, it is two lots of 3mile a day

no the train I get is a 'metro' so no loos, and the stop where I get off has no loo
-
cant really widdle in the street like a dude you know
-
yeah I mean for me, I take the train halfway to work then run the rest (the first half is in an unsafe area). so by the time I get there, I have been travelling for 40 mins already, then I run for 60 and somehow actually running makes me need the wees. even If I am fine when I start out

I think it is eating too many carbs and too little protein. especially fast digesting carbs. i make this mistake a lot when vegan you gotta ensure to get the protein right then you stave off the hunger and avoid sugar spikes/slumps

does the body need fasting, detoxing and cleansing?
-
can this actually be harmful if fopr a short while and taking multivits? like the weekend before a party? thinking Beyoncé and master cleanse

im just impatient you know? and kinda envious my friend can drop 10lb in a week when I am glad to lose that in a month!
-
for those saying 'you gain it all back' - what if someone a couple stone overweight crash dieted to a normal weight then just followed a 'normal diet' to lose anymore?
-
what if someone wanted fast results then resolved to eat properly and healthiliy once they were slim?
-
I think she just wants to look good for partes and holidays the rest of the time baggy sweats etc. and 10lb isn't a lot but choosing between 2 months and 1 week of losing ...

wow d3gus well sone!!

My skirt was so big it would go over my hips while still done up! So i had to buy a new one which was two sizes down. I also tried on a shirt and skirt which didnt fit a before and they fit great now. I lost so many inches i had to buy a smaller suit. However - disclaimer - i've weighed this morning and lost about 3lb in 2…

well done

I don't log low cal veggies like broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, cabbage, cucumber.
-
out of interest, do you fellow shorties diet differently to tall peeps? anyone use the petite advantage diet? it says weird stuff like short women should avoid cardio and only weight train
-
maybe they are in a different country? in the USA I think their size 8 equates to a UK size 12. and a UK size 8 is a USA size 4
-
i ignore it. for normal people, 1200 calories is not much. but for a sedentary shortie, if you want to lose weight you gotta go under that...unless you want to take like a month to lose 1lb

stay, but hand her a robe!

im not sure. i used to get colds all the time, which always went into chest infections. then it ended up happeneing every two months. then i got a cough and it never went away, and i was tired all the time and my lungs felt full of fluid. then the doc monitored my peak flow and saw i had asthma. but with all the chest…

can I ask, why do you like it? i'd much rather be indoors in the warm. I don't like being sweaty. and I get bored. I end up idley walking. that is why im fat.

wow great work ladies!! love this thread, so inspiring!!
-
me too. the mfp calorie burn rates seem very very high
-
very nice - so easy to use too!
-
they say its 80% diet 20% sport personally I avoid weights when losing as a) I have no energy for it and b) it makes me ravenous for carbs and sugar afterward
-
what do you guys do when you are at the awkward stage of between sizes? your clothes are too big and baggy but the size down too small?
