Lady runners - needing a wee when running

whenever I go on long runs, I have this issue. sometimes more than once. even if I go before I run. often I run residential streets or parks without 'private areas' if you know what I mean.

this means often I end up walking the rest, or getting a bus.

what do you do in this situation

I usually only run for 60-90 minutes and don't take water with me so I've never encountered this.

If I did, I'd rearrange my route so I went past a supermarket, friend's house, or a pub or a shopping centre. Failing that, there's lots of quiet parkland round where I live, and I am not above having a wee in the woods.

    Go before you run.
Change your long run route to pass by a store or some trees

yeah I mean for me, I take the train halfway to work then run the rest (the first half is in an unsafe area). so by the time I get there, I have been travelling for 40 mins already, then I run for 60 and somehow actually running makes me need the wees. even If I am fine when I start out

Oh yeah I can see how the motion of running could tip a person over the edge if they already needed to go. There isn't a toilet on your train you could use just before your stop? Or in the station?

no the train I get is a 'metro' so no loos, and the stop where I get off has no loo
