No I go by the calories that mfp gave me. That's why I only ate half back. To account for the over calculation. I have a watch that tells you your heart rate when u put ur finger on it. But that's about it.

Yes I walk 12.5-13 miles in the weekend. Then occasionally I hike 11 miles

That is giving me Bmr of 1397 (87 higher than the 1310 I've been doing and tdee of 2043. I'd probably be sick if I ate that much lol. At 1310 I was trying hard to make it to that number each day.

If I put sedentary then it recommends 1200. I was thinking of trying that for a while. I am a service working in a school so i do sit some but I walk a bit too. I went with lightly active since I do not site for hours once I'm home haha. Maybe the 1200 would help

I just completed the 30day shred which is circuit training with strength and plan to start ripped in 30. Should I add more strength to that? Maybe it's not enough?

I appreciate the posts. I guess I will just have to be patient and accept that I may need to lose more on top than I want To in order to lose some in the thighs. :/. But atleast I know now its nothing I'm doing wrong.

I just came from weight watches to here in November so I probably use a lot of those words. Lol it had me doing so much wrong and falling into all the hype in their emails. But since I came here I'm learning so Much. I only wish I had sooner. I could possible already be where I want to.

So basically I have to eliminate fat off of them before they get firmer? It's weird the top section of me looks like a person who works out and the bottom looks flabby and soft. I know you can't spot train to reduce fat but will working the legs more build the muscle under the fat until I burn it or will I just build them…

Yeah I'm 5'2. Don't have a specific goal weight in mind. Just trying to look toned and athletic. :). I was aiming for 120 originally but I'm almost 100% satisfied with my arms and stomach. One the thighs look sleeker and harder I guess that's my goal weight

Thank you for all the responses. I have 10 days left of 30 day shred. After that I'd like to throw the earbuds in and just lift. I use 5 ad 8 lb weights for the video but want to do heavier ones to do some sets. Then my cardio can be outside enjoying the nice weather! :)

I know by burning calories I will keep weight off but I know I need weights to keep my body tight. But do I need circuit training to keep it tight
