  • It's all about the SHOES! :)
  • Inches are definitely better! You have to build muscle first before you start burning fat so keep up the good work and the number on the scale will eventually start to drop. Look on the bright side, at least you're not gaining weight :) Just be positive and stay focused!
  • Hmm.. maybe a problem with the scale?
  • You should be fine as long as your clothing isn't rubbing against it. You could even put stuff on it (I usually use A&D ointment) and cover it with something breathable, just so you don't get sweat or anything on it
  • They say to weigh yourself first thing in the morning before you have anything in your system.. I'm always less compared to later at night. Are you eating right before bed? And are you getting enough sleep?
  • Squats- Scissors- Running!
  • I used to drink Dr. Pepper constantly. I eventually got down to 2 cans a day, then 1 can a day, then last February I just stopped buying it completely! I only buy water, milk, coke (for my fiance.... and for my captain morgan lol), and beer (again, for my fiance). If you're not thirsty just take sips every now and then.…
  • Bright colors, leg warmers, off the shoulder sweater, headband, high ponytail, SLAP BRACELET *sigh* oh how I miss the 90's... lol

  • I actually had tuna last night- I put low cal mayo and egg whites in mine.. Then I toast whole wheat bread and make a sandwich out of it!
  • I am a picky eater, definitely NOT a health freak, and love sweets/snacks. I eat whatever I want, whenever I want just as long as i'm under my calories or know that I will be able to get exercise in to put me under. Faithfully logging everything on here teaches me to say NO when I'm really craving something. If it's not in…
  • Towns in PA... Blue Ball, Intercourse, and Bird-in-hand
  • I do 25 minutes of general/cardio training
  • My fiance works 6p-4a.. and has an hour and a half commute one way.. So we see each other for about 5 minutes a day as I'm waking up to get ready and he's crawling in to bed... It definitely takes some getting used to. I try not to get freaked out but we have 2 dogs who get up everytime they hear the slightest noise and we…
  • I put it in as 25 minutes of circuit training :)
  • Cardio ~ Strength ~ Abs About 25 minutes long.. Level 1 includes jumping jacks, jump rope, squats, push ups, butt kicks, bicycle crunches, etc.. You will be sore the first few days, everyone is different, you just gotta push yourself through it though.. It does get easier!
  • I chew gum and drink lots of water throughout the day!
  • Awesome! Okay so fill me in.. how hard is this? With my schedule, I sometimes find it hard to squeeze in time to do the 30 day shred. How longs do the workouts last? Have you done it every single day? And how hard is it? And what type of exercises are involved? :)
  • I have a yellow lab who just turned 3 on Feb. 25th- I got him when he was 3 months old and we were only in our house for less than 3 months. Even though i've always had dogs growing up, let me tell you it was (and still is) very challenging since it was the first time doing it on my own (and with my fiance, of course) but…
  • I actually mute the tv and play my own music so I don't have to listen to her, lol :)
  • Mine get smaller :( Of course, the parts you don't need to lose from are the first ones to go lol
  • Keep up the good work. It does get easier and you will notice a change as the days go by! :)
  • I take One-a-day women's active mind and body. My regular dr and gyno both recommend taking vitamins and I know I wouldn't get enough of the vitamins that I need if I didn't take them. I honestly can't say if I feel a difference or not, I don't really pay much attention and I've been taking them for years now. I have…
  • I try to bring a lunch everyday, or I hit up Subway. Packing my lunch usually consists of Turkey/Cheese on 100% whole wheat bread, a handful of grapes, and a handful of baby carrots. I always keep a box of Fiber One bars in my desk or on break I'll walk to Giant and grab an apple or banana.
  • (Just stating my opinion)- I don't like the idea of any kind of diet supplements, period. But isn't it funny how JM claims to be the toughest trainer (she is in my book) but then promotoes this kind of stuff. It just doesn't make sense to me. I definitely agree with all of the other suggestions of natural cleansing and…
  • I've been having this same problem. I've only been tracking for a week and I've finally got everything in check for the most part except sugar. By the time I finish breakfast, i'm already way over my limit. I'm a workaholic so I don't have much time to actually prepare meals and I'm also picky and don't like alot of…
  • I had mine out in 2008 and lost 10 lbs. in 2 weeks (because of anxiety I was afraid to eat even after it healed lol). So i'm probably not much help but I remember I mostly ate yogurt, pudding, and mashed potatoes. I was just so afraid of something going wrong because I found lots of horror stories on the internet and from…
  • Thanks everyone. Geez it's kinda hard keeping up with everyone and I've only been coming online for a few days :) My food diary is now viewable by friends. I've been doing decent with food- Just have to watch my sodium and sugar intake. It's a little hard to be mindful of these things though since i'm always working. I'm…
  • Okay, so you all that have lost weight.. how did you do it? I work 6 days a week, 8-5 in an office and then evenings at a spa (Massage Therapist so by appointment only, hours are 4-8 but i'm not always there that late). I get 2- 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch so I try to squeeze in at least 2 walks during the day,…
  • I was wondering the same thing... I don't want to use the "free" calories if it only means that i'm overeating...
