You need to be consistent and have more self control, otherwise what's the point? Excercise regularly and keep track of your calories. Drop the ready meals and cook your own food, eat whole foods, lean meat and plenty of fruit and veg.

Yeah, try working out regularly, and eat a few hundred more calories than you burn. Protein shakes are good, but try a mass gainer to help you along.
