Yesterday I did not do the planned C25K, but I did 30 pushups, 30 crunches, and 30 bridge lifts while watching tv, so that's something. Goals for today: - log everything - C25K, even if hubby and son don't want to do it - plan for a healthy Saturday so I can post a loss on Sunday

Yesterday was pretty good for me, too :D I was getting ready for my 2 mile walk last night, and I stubbed my pinkie toe. Felt a bit dizzy momentarily, then had to sit until it hurt less. I did well yesterday. I participated in a Help the Homeless walk at lunchtime, and they gave us a free Chik-fil-a sandwich upon finishing. I gave mine to a friend and ate the salad I brought instead :) We had a celebration at work with all kinds of coookies/pastries and I didn't have any. I tracked my food, and completed…

I am also up today (1.2 pounds), and I accept it. I overate on Tuesday, and I abandoned the challenge for the entire weekend. However, I will not be discouraged. Yesterday I ate much better and I exercised, and I lost a little bit. It can be done, and if I try for the entire 10 days, I will show a loss at weigh-in #2.…

Yesterdy did not go well at all. I knew we were taking my MIL out for a birthday dinner, so I had salad for lunch, and salad for dinner, but also a free bagel for breakfast, and we stopped at coldstone creamery, and it just wasn't pretty. Last night I had a treat meal - free birthday burger at Red Robin. I got it without mayo and didn't eat all the fries, so, it could have been worse. I met my goals yesterday - which felt great :) Went over on calories, but I tracked them, so it counts. Today's goals are: Track food and exercise C25K training and Abs (but I'm still sore from Monday's exercise video, so, wish me luck) Go to bed earlier

I saw a show on Discovery channel about Hashimoto's Disease, which is an autoimmune disease affecting the thyroid gland. Pale, puffy face and thin legs were symptoms. OP, have you ever had your thyroid checked?

Brownies, I hope your husband is feeling better. I've been doing this challenge, and it is definitely more challenging than last week. Still totally doable, but my hips are sore. Anybody else feeling that?

:smile: Hello, all! I did a 30 minute DVD tonight and a walk last night. I will try to do one more workout this week, but it will be tough, since we are going on vacation on Saturday. I very much appreciate the extra motivation of this group - it got me off the couch tonight!

At 5' 7", obesity starts at 191. Overweight starts at 160. Even adjusting for you being an inch shorter than me, you are not even close. Please don't stress about the 7 pounds.

I am on the larger side of the girls in the gym. I have never been made fun of, or made to feel uncomfortable by the girls who are already fit and/or slim. I don't wear tights out of concern for those who may be on the treadmill behind me :noway: Just kidding - I dress comfortably and I get the workout done and I go home.

You are not "disgusting". Positive self-talk may help. I booked a cruise vacation, so I also have a goal to work towards :) Mine is in about 8 weeks, so I would love to lose 10 pounds in that time. We can do it!
