I've noticed a huge change in my taste buds, too. I have struggled with binge eating since I was a child. I haven't binged so far in 2022. I've also noticed that I've become a food snob. My body and my taste buds have become accustomed to fresh, high-quality foods. They will no longer settle for crap. They want the good…

I've been doing intermittent fasting since January. Whenever I eat something, I seem to have a switch that turns on and makes me want more and more food. I've found that if I fast until the afternoon, I have a much easier times controlling my food intake. I drink coffee and sip on no/low calorie liquids until 3:00 pm. Then…

@AnnPT77 what brand of blackstrap molasses do you prefer, and where do you buy it?

My employer has since changed insurance companies. But with out previous company, I earned enough points through the wellness program to get a free Ipad. It was pretty exciting.

Do you just eat the smoked tofu as is? Or do you prepare it in some way?

Even though I don't particularly enjoy winter weather, I love using snow shoveling as my exercise for the day. Anytime exercise has an actual purpose, I love it.

Thank you for the insight! I was leaning toward the smaller version, but needed some other opinions. Greatly appreciated!

I am wanting to purchase the Apple Watch Series 7. But I'm having difficulty deciding between the 41 mm and 45 mm. Many reviews say they love the larger screen for easier use. Many reviews say it's too large on a woman's wrist and they prefer the 41 mm. Anyone have a recommendation for this woman?

@springlering62 Cottage cheese, fruit AND BALSAMIC? WHAAAAT?!!! It has never occurred to me to add balsamic to cottage cheese, and now I must try this! Do you use regular vinegar or glaze? Just a drizzle on top? Please teach me your ways!

Not criticizing, asking because I am genuinely curious. Why do you eat in the morning if you're not hungry? Do you have a medical issue that requires you to eat?

I would not eat this because fat-free cheese makes me sad. If I really wanted a grilled cheese, I would just work the calories into my daily budget. Also, butter spray has calories, so this is technically more than 100 calories. I'm glad that you've found something that you enjoy, though.

I assumed OP meant they burned 3100 calories over the course of the whole day from living, which also included their calories burned during exercise. TDEE

We order pizza every Friday night. I eat two slices of thin crust, mushroom, light cheese. I fill the rest of my plate with raw veggies. It's delicious, I look forward to it, and it fits within my calorie goals.

This is exactly why I don't eat breakfast. When I eat before noon, it seems to flip a switch in me that just makes me hungrier and wanting to eat all the things. Highly processed foods also leave me just craving more, so I save my chips and sweets for the evenings, which really seems to help me moderate. I realize this…

Disagree. If you have questions/concerns, discuss them with the teacher. She/he deserves the courtesy of being given the opportunity for open dialogue with you. Then if you're not satisfied, have a conversation with admin. A good administrator will direct you to speak directly with the teacher first anyway. It is customary…

I walk before dawn, in the dark, every morning for this very reason. I love feeling like I have the whole world to myself. (I'm also an introvert, btw.)

Do you have a bike you can ride outside? That's my second choice after walking.

This is the safe place for you to celebrate your success! Way to go! Your abs look amazing!!!

I saw knee support pillows at Bed, Bath and Beyond the other day, and I've been thinking about them every since. I may have to try one.

Trader Joe's has some delicious seasoning blends. My favorites are Everything But the Elote and Citrusy Garlic.

I have an elliptical and a mini trampoline (also called a rebounder). I have certain shows that I only allow myself to watch if I'm on the elliptical. I can watch any show I want while walking on my trampoline.

I have always been an avid walker (40+ miles per week). Last summer, I started having so much joint pain that I feared I'd have to give up walking. It seemed counter-intuitive to me. I began taking glucosamine chondroitin (brand name Osteo Biflex), and within two weeks, all of my joint pain went away. Don't know if this…

Sugar has the same effect on me. It also exacerbates my depression. I always feel better when I consume less.

Can you get up early and run while hubby and kids are still asleep? That's what I used to do.

I used to give plasma weekly. It was no big deal, and as a busy parent, it was an hour of quiet time to read a book. I have naturally low blood pressure and can be low on iron, so I always had to pay attention to those so I didn't get turned away.

I received some silicone mats from Ikea as a gift. I didn't like them at all. They tended to roll up during baking and make my cookies misshapen. And they always felt greasy after I thoroughly washed them. I am a huge fan of parchment paper and wish I knew about it years ago (my mom never used it).

The way I finally convinced my taste buds to enjoy sweet potatoes was 1. roasting them in the oven , and 2. enjoying them in Mexican food. This recipe is now a staple in my diet and it freezes really well if you're meal prepping. https://cookieandkate.com/black-bean-sweet-potato-enchiladas/
