It's about 32 C here! After not doing anything for 3 months, back at it. Have gained about 5 lbs in the last couple weeks, so need some discipline. First FD-today-so far so good.

Garmin 910XT, with Garmin Connect to down load. Usually really good...sometimes the HR sensor goes a little nuts.

It's snowing...we will never see Spring...Virginia is now in the Arctic. Daylight could be 24 hours, but not much good if it's 20 outside....Now I can stop whining :s

Weighed in this AM. Have lost 2.6 lbs this week. Am close to goal. 5:2 really works...have lost 20 lbs since October 10th, when I first stumbled on this illustrious group. Keys for me: Stay close to FD thresholds and don't go nuts on non FD's. Thanks

Just finished 2nd FD of the week. Just over goal by 6 cal. Will be interesting to see wt tomorrow

Yesterday was my FD. Did well...stayed under my limit...first time that's happened! I'm afraid part of it may be nerves as much as starving myself. Going thru a lot of personal stuff right now.

I agree with you lulu1066. The hardest part is getting back in the routine, when you have done it and gone away from it.

Finished my 2nd FD of the week yesterday. First 2 FD week since October! Surprisingly easy. Am doing the Daniel Plan for Lent. Day 2 today. Have never successfully completed a Lent objective...will keep you posted.

Completed fd yesterday...only 90 calories above. Figured out how I can get thru it...sleep! Got up at 8am-went to bed at 9pm.

Just got home from SoCal (San Diego). Ate too much pie. At least there is no Cocos in VA! Time to get back in the groove. Did get 80 miles of cycling in while I was there...which is 80 I would not have gotten here. Will fast at least one day this week...then back to 2 next week.

Good idea-makes a big difference. I just finished my first FD in quite some time. Down 2.2 lbs. I did a light workout, as noted earlier. It really helped me. I just started the Daniel Plan on Sunday. I think it helps to find something that will keep you accountable for what you eat, especially for non-fast days, regardless…

sooo....I did my first successful fast since November. Was easier than I thought, except for right now. I should have gone to sleep, but I can't. On the other hand, worked out for an hour, which helped. Ended up with a net of 60 calories for the day.

I did Whole30 in October in conjunction with 5:2 and 8:16 (figured if 1 worked, why not try all 3!!!). Flunked Fast day :s ! Thought my "dragon roll" would be the same as regular sushi, but it was draggin calories with it. So I said " F This" and ate some fudge!
