I just completed my first full week on 5:2. My FD's are on Tues and Thurs. I have some questions, and would appreciate some feedback. One other thing, I am also trying to do an 8:16 regimen. 1. Wheels
Any suggestions out there on a good disc wheelset for a gravel bike? I just bought a Felt V85... Good bike except for the wheels and the handlebars and stem (heavy). I intend to use the bike for both gravel and touring, so I want a wheelset that can accommodate a wide range of tires. Also wondered about tubeless v. tubes.

Just joined your group today. I have been doing 5:2 for the last 5 weeks, which is the antithesis of this program. Did it in conjunction with Whole30. Also threw in 8:16 for grins. Now that we are back, how is everybody doing?
Thanks for getting us back up again. I'm on my 3rd day, and so far so good. Have lost 5 lbs since Weds! Biggest change is I don't eat anything after 7 or 8 at I don't start eating until 16 hours elapse. I'm doing this in conjunction with the Whole30 regimen, and seems to be working for me. Daniel Plan Detox
Today is my first day of Detox ( page 294+in the book). Plan is to go 10 days. If anyone out there has done the detox or wants to, lets help each other get it done. I've been floundering since the middle of February, so need to get back on track.

Recess...short but...still
Today was my first excercise day since Monday...longest lull since November. DId not log for 3 days!! Anybody else done something similar recently?? Only gained 1 lb. I did something similar last month ot of frustration and then proceeded to lose 10 lbs. My assumption is that if I keep my body guessing, it won't settle.

back pain
I have genetic disc disease in my lower back. Should I keep doing StronLifts? My back did not bother me for the first 2.5 weeks, but it is now. Wonder if it is poor form or just me.
