My coworkers have been consistently great and supportive the entire time and often say nice things, but it amuses me when I coworker I see less often has finally worked up the nerve to ask, "Have you lost weight?" because at this point I've lost 110 pounds and it's so absurdly obvious that breaking the ice by asking *IF*…

On the 6th my husband and I made a slightly impulsive decision to move to another unit in our apartment building, and the past 5 days have been a flurry of emails, paper signing, box packing, & wall patching, to have everything done by the end of the month! It's been a little stressful, but mostly just so distracting and…

@speyerj My goal for when I eventually get to maintenance is also to just weigh myself occasionally without logging calories on a daily basis, and only go back to logging when I see a gain that needs to be corrected. That's the dream!! I also don't really understand my hunger cues or even the feeling of being 'satisfied'…

@lbostic89 I deal with the water weight increase from physical activity every week! I have a pretty physical job, and really only see my weight losses on my Mondays, after I've been at home resting for 2-3 days. It's very normal for exercise to bump up your weight! As long as you know you're on track, the progress will…

April 2019 start weight: 397.7 Feb. 2020 start weight: 292 February goal: 286 --- I need to focus on sticking to my calorie goals and not going over! I allow it far too often, and it's definitely slowed down my progress. Even after all this time I feel like I still struggle with the basics, lmao. That's my main goal for…

April 2019 start weight: 397.7 January 2020 start weight: 300.3 January goal: 294 --- 01/08 - 298.1 01/17 - 296.1 01/24 - 293.9 01/31 - 291.9 An 8.4 pound loss for January! I'm thrilled, honestly. I definitely struggle with eating over my calorie goal, and as I lose weight, the amount I can overeat and still get results…

@speyerj You're giving me hope! I am beyond squishy and that tire ring thing is really out of control, lmao. I was always the same size for tops and bottoms, but so much of my weight is hanging out in that tire now that my top size is way smaller! I wear very high waisted Torrid jeggings (their "lean jeans") as my main…

@sharpdust I always log the overages and snacks! I actually usually make myself log them before I even go to the kitchen to get them, so I can really look at the totals and see if the extra snack is worth it to me. I mean, it usually is tbh, but it's made me think twice plenty of times as well!

I reached 101 pounds down this morning! I'm so happy with what I've accomplished, & even though it's not quite halfway to a healthy weight, it FEELS like it's halfway. That first 100 is done and dusted, and now I'm working on the second one! It's such a big mile marker on my journey. WHEN (not 'if') I get to 197 (my 200…

April 2019 start weight: 397.7 January 2020 start weight: 300.3 January goal: 294 --- 01/08 - 298.1 I've finally made it into the 200s! I'm at 99.6 pounds down in total, so close to 100! I'm glad to be back on track after Christmas; November and December were very slow weight loss months, so I'm just focusing on…

Happy New Year, everyone! I only lost 4 pounds in December, and 6 pounds in November, so I really need to focus and start sticking to my calorie goals again! I'm glad that I continued to move in the right direction during the holidays at least, and as long as it stays just a short break in my journey, I'm fine with the…

Loved reading everyone's posts this morning! Good to see us all still sticking with it and checking in, triumph or trial, during a time of year I usually just give up and blame it all on "the holidays". I maintained weight through Christmas, despite all those lingering snacks @aliciap0116 mentioned! I regularly take extra…

I chose not to log during the day yesterday, but near the end sort of guesstimated what I had eaten and put in the info, so the day wouldn't be completely lacking in data. I probably ate twice my calorie goal and I have no regrets! It was a great day and I enjoyed every bit of it. I did actually wake up with a bit of a…

Long time no see! I have been checking in on this thread every couple of days to keep up with everyone, but haven't felt up to posting. The seasonal struggle is real! I feel like I've had more luck and less stress just keeping to myself and doing my thing without thinking about it too much. So I'm going to post my stats…

I logged a weight gain today. Usually I just skip it until it's a lower number, so any brief plateaus look like what they are, but this doesn't feel like a brief plateau anymore. I'm exactly where I was a month ago, and it sucks. I briefly caught sight of a '304' here and there last month and did log it when it happened,…

My goal for November was a big one-- to lose 10.8 pounds and reach an even 300. I fell short with a loss of 6.3 pounds. I suppose I am disappointed, but mostly I'm confused because I felt like I was acting within my parameters for success. I've been really battling with water weight this past month, I started out November…

@ThreeReasonsToChange I've added you! We've lost a nearly identical amount of weight so far, though I started a bit higher than you so I have quite a ways more to go. I also really struggle with food addiction. One of my real accomplishments l've noticed lately is that I can actually go to the kitchen and grab ONE cookie…

@Terytha or check out ebay, poshmark, etc! There's been a couple of pieces I'm too reluctant to part with even though they no longer fit me, and those sites have served me well!

Chiming in again on the daily weight conversation, I find that my best weigh-in days are after my weekend! So the morning of my first day back at work is my best time. My job is pretty physical and my very out-of-shape body views the whole thing as a workout, so I can retain quite a few pounds of water. After a nice…

@Candyn617 & @bdbjswbrb I usually weigh myself the 2 days before my official weekly weigh-in that I log, and sometimes the day after too, if weigh-in day is telling me something that doesn't seem right! Water weight is so pesky. I hate to miss a good low number, so I end up weighing myself 3 days a week to catch the best…

April start weight: 397.7 November start weight: 310.8 November goal: 300 --- 11/8 - 308.6 11/15 - 308.6 11/22 - 304.7 6.1 pound loss for the month so far, despite a stagnant week! I have been eating over my calorie goal, but not over my maintenance calories, so I just had to wait for stress and some unexpected PMS to…

April start weight: 397.7 November start weight: 310.8 November goal: 300 --- 11/8 - 308.6 11/15 - 308.6 Exactly the same weight, even to the .6, but considering the numbers I was seeing during the week in between, I'll take it. Awful amounts of stress this week, I hit a really unstable place on Wednesday. Work stress…

I had such a stressful work week; my boss was away for the weekend and I'm the informal assistant manager, and it was just so much stuff to keep track of and make sure got done and got done well!! I definitely found myself struggling with stress eating yesterday. I was just so mentally and physically exhausted from the…

I absolutely live for Belvita brand bars! The soft oat bars, and the crispy cracker 4-packs. I have them constantly, in a wide range of flavors. Each pack is 200-230 calories, and it's a really quick easy thing to grab in the morning. I feel a need to eat SOMETHING in the morning, but don't have a large appetite at all. If…

A non-scale victory for today! Went into Walmart with the hope of finding a couple of new sweaters, expecting to be trying on size 26. Then I found one and held it up... and it looked too big?? Found a 24, same thing... starting to question my sanity. Am I just imagining myself as some skinny mini now? Even came across a…

April start weight: 397.7 November start weight: 310.8 November goal: 300 --- 11/8 - 308.6 I had a good week with staying near calorie goal! Every day was within a few hundred calories, no major outliers, which for me is great! lol. I actually have my calorie goal set a little lower than necessary, because I know that…

It can be so tempting! I've been logging my weight once weekly since I started, but I often find myself taking a couple "sneak peeks" in between to see how I'm doing. There are always those weeks when I know I don't want to actually see what it has to say and I have to resist for my own good! I should resist more often,…

April start weight: 397.7 November start weight: 310.8 November goal: 300 even! -- My October goal was to lose 10 pounds, and I ended the month out with an 11.3 pound loss, so my November goal is within the realm of possibility! I'll definitely have to work for it, but I think I can do it. It's so crazy to think I could…

April start weight: 397.7 October start weight: 322.1 -- Oct 9th: 317.9 Oct 16th: 315.3 Oct 24th: 316.4 Oct 31st: 310.8 October goal: 312 -- Last week's higher weight was definitely PMS-related, and I'm super excited to end out October past my goal!! 11.3 pounds down for the month. :)

Tried on last year's costume today for a fun "Halloween Edition" before & progress! I'll be officially weighing in on the first with my October results, since I like to count what I did on the final day of the month as well. ^_^
