I will weigh officially on Thursday to end the month (currently my TOM so not a good time for weighing. I just booked a surprise trip to Florida for my hubby and I in Jan so I need to kick this booty into gear! Went to the gym today sop that is a step in the right direction, I am all in for a November challenge!4

@bluffgirl67 I am glad they ruled out anything major! Wtg on logging while at the Golden Corral. We did that a couple weeks ago and I made sure to fill my plate with their lovely veggies and then chose my meat. Told myself if I was still hungry I would get a small carb selection. ( Mashed potatoes or Mac and cheese) But I ended up deciding I wanted a small dish of lowfat frozen yogurt. Everything was so good. So nice to feel like you can eat out and not feel like you cant have something. I logged it and moved on. Was still well within my calories allowed for the day!! Buffets are always a little tricky. Lol.. Hope you are feeling better!!3

@RavenStCloud I hope you are feeling better! Food poisoning is no joke. Definitely no weight loss plan I would reccomend for sure! Hope you are on the mend! Wtg getting back to the gym three times. I am still working on getting more activity in!2

Unfortunately this will have been my first "up" month in a year. I can thank my vacation for that at the start of October. What I can say is that I am in smaller jeans, and I feel more fit than last month, so go figure... I have been very active this month. It is very possible that I may have gained some more definition and muscle tone (rationalization probably - maybe denial). As I am within 5lbs of my start, I have not adjusted my scale up, as long as I'm going down....down...down.

This week the scale went the wrong way but I was expecting that due to the prescribed steroids from the er visit and the extra sitting/travel with Momma appts. I tend to hold water a bit when traveling for long spells. I'm still proud of my logging and getting my exercise in so not going to let that get me down. See ya in the new thread.5 -

I didn't set an October goal but I am very happy to see the scale on a downward trend after a slow September. Total loss this month 8.3 lbs. .8 lbs from 60 lbs lost since the end of March! Here's to a good November!!! Let's do this!!!3 -

So happy to see everyone's progress this month!! Just incredible and so inspiring! This past week I made 96 fudge brownie cupcakes with many leftovers for my son's birthday and only ate one! I saved it for after my trip so I could savor it. And also survived my conference. Ladies, if you are looking to lose weight, do NOT go to New Orleans!!! If you live there, bless you. So many decadent, lovely food and drink options. A constant struggle but knowing I had to report back to you today, I did my best, got a few workouts in, lost 1 lb since last week, and am happy to be home!! Thank you for all of your support!!!!5 -

Final Oct weight 263.8... moving down, slowly. But i didn't really start buckling down until about a week ago so I am expecting better results in November! See you guys over there!3

I struggled the end of August and all of September. I ended up with a gain for the month of September. At the beginning of September, I started taking olanzapine and seroquel. Unfortunately, they make me extremely hungry and groggy. Fighting the hunger while groggy is tough but I am determined to do it this month.
Goals for October
1. Walk a minimum of one 30 minutes a day( more is better)
2. Eat a decent snack when I take my evening medications
3. Log everything thing I eat
4. Be more active in my support groups even if it means just reading what you all have posted

I am not totally sad about this. I am still taking the medications and the hunger is real. The doctor has stopped all daytime does of those medications and if all stays well the bedtime doses will be reduced starting November 27th. I hit my goals about 80% of the time except number 4. I read every post in my groups. I may be quiet but I am cheering you all on. See you in the November thread.2 -
