When I eat out, I always check to see what gluten free options the place has before I order. Also, you should be able to see carbs, protein, etc in your diary. You can also search for sandwich without bun or whatever it is and add gluten free in the search bar. You would be surprised at how many things there are there :)

Water weight around my TOM always moves the scale in the wrong direction and also when I eat a lot of sodium...and I have had it move the scale by upward of 7 or 8 pounds. Don't sweat it. Check back in a few days.

I say you can never get enough veggies. But then again, I love veggies and have had many days where I didn't get all my protein in because all I had eaten is veggies.

My 300 pound husband was doing this diet and trying to convince me to do it too. This is the dumbest thing I have heard of. Low on calories and NOT nutritionally complete.

I made pasta for my family and they had no idea that I had brought out the grater and grated carrots and zucchini into the sauce. By the way, I tried the 18:6 diet for a while. I liked it and actually lost about 15 pounds in a short time doing it and it was way more sustainable. Search the internet for it...lots of information out there. Hope this is helpful.

^This. I also suffer from arthritis and I have to keep moving. A few years ago I could hardly get up off the couch or out of bed without assistance. Now I am planning my first 5k for the end of this year! You have to listen to your body and do what you can.
