  • I highly doubt there is enough calories in vape liquid that would affect your calorie intake... Pretty sure most of it is made of propylene glycol.

  • I was 10 or 11 when I first started having symptoms and diagnosed at 12. I think it depends entirely when the girl goes through puberty, and their weight at the time.
  • Starvation implies little to no calorie intake, and deficit on glucose which is the real problem in starvation. 700 isn't starvation, if you're trying to hit a certain ratio in that aspect perhaps. By your standards I'm low on 1 or 2 of your measures and starving myself, but that definitely isn't the case.
  • I've had PCOS since 12, and my weight has gone from 130 to 108 to 130 to 117 since then and I didn't really see any changes in hair growth. It probably depends mostly on the person though, having dark hair definitely doesn't help. Hopefully weight loss helps for you.
  • If you aren't hungry, you aren't hungry. It's not like you aren't eating anything that day, just continue to eat when you feel hungry. You aren't forcing yourself to starve so it likely wouldn't have a negative impact on anything- you might be getting a decent level of glucose when you do eat and your body just stays happy…
  • Every. Single. Time. It only happens if I'm cooking over the stove though, microwave or oven I'm still fine.
  • lol "Ash hungie" *points to tum* I'd just suggest slowly not eating candy/sugar/whatever, don't just stop it and replace it with a protein source instead.
  • On those days where you plan to eat less, I wouldn't exercise. I was doing a 800-900 calorie intake per day for a week and the week after I wanted to eat everything... Perhaps just the two days would be okay though. I wouldn't think it would "stunt" the way you lose weight, but you might unintentionally eat more the other…
  • I'd think if it made you hungrier any food with sugar would also make you hungrier. The body treats artificial sweeteners like sugar but they are not absorbed so no calories. Sometimes you can get insulin spikes while eating artificial things especially if that's the only thing you've eaten that day. Breakfast makes me…
  • As people have said prior, cholesterol levels have little to do with your dietary cholesterol intake which is cool for lots of people who limited things like eggs in the past. Cholesterol levels are really influenced by fat in your body, if you have a lot of extra fat caused by excess calorie intake/mostly carb intake,…
  • Everything is made of chemicals... The ones in pop aren't really that unnatural either, the caramel color is the most unnatural ingredient because I doubt there are any natural sources they use to get it. Most other things in pop are corn derivatives. But I guess if that's what got you off it, sure. I'd just try diet pop,…

  • B vitamins help with energy as they convert food calories into usable energy more easily, not sure of how the mechanism works.... but you could take a higher amount of B vitamins along with your vitapaks.
  • For anyone still looking for a decent answer to this. Propylene glycol wouldn't cause weight gain... The products it turns are basically energy though, lactic acid and pyruvic acid.
  • 20 minutes for 200 calories is pretty decent it depends on what you're doing and how accurate you'd consider the machine you're using. It'd probably take me 25 minutes, but I'm not working especially hard, but I use high incline.
  • I was looking up some of the potential things that inositol helped with and I saw one was panic disorder. Does anyone here have panic attacks that it might have helped with? I wasn't really wanting to be on SNRI's again just because I forget to take pills a lot and that can cause some pretty severe issues.
  • I'm 5'0 and I didn't really start losing weight until I did crazy amounts of cardio, the dieting didn't really help until afterwards. But I was eating around 1300 and burning ~500 calories a day for a long time and the weight just suddenly was gone. That's probably not a great plan, but additional exercise can increase…
  • You probably should be getting all the amino acids you need from food... I'd consider it a waste of money. I'm sure there are some foods that have higher sources of some of the essential ones which would just be cheaper than taking a supplement. EDIT: Vegetables and grains have good combinations of amino acids so you don't…
  • We had Sodexo, it was terrible, but gave really accurate nutrition information. Now if their food didn't taste so terrible you didn't want to eat anything...
  • Could just be heart burn, sometimes it just causes burps, which can be caused by eating things that are too acidic. Your diet sounds fine, maybe just take some tums after you eat.
  • I assume you want to eat the regular ones because they are healthier than the honey nut ones... If you add sugar and honey they become a pretty decent chunk of calories compared to the other varieties. Just eat the honey nut ones.
  • I think they try to put as much calcium in soy milk as regular dairy milk, so if you like soy you can get it that way.
  • On general food labels sugar is counted under total carbs so I don't see why it wouldn't be here also...
  • It's very possible that you have familial hypercholesterolemia, I don't think it's particularly uncommon, and it can contribute to heart disease. That being said, you can't control that with diet and statins should be used.... Diet and exercise can increase HDL and decrease LDL levels, mostly decrease LDL. Fatty acids like…
  • Probably a 6-7, I've cut calories substantially due to a freaky weight gain I had. No issues with eating under 1000 calories so far, probably won't have an issue since I cut out my candy.
  • My dinner consisted of: Frosted Flakes + skim milk, blueberry kefir, a macaroni cup with chicken, and some cottage cheese. I had to eat up around 800 calories since I was sleeping through when I would eat today...
  • It's not unhealthy, although any soda has acid (phosphoric acid, potassium benzoate and citric acid) which can cause ulcers and destroy enamel. An issue that can happen in some people is that it'll cause insulin levels to rise because the body mistakes the aspartame for real sugar. I've had it happen a few times when I…
  • I really like their equivalent to Funyuns I was so tempted to buy some cookie butter when I was there, but it's kind of expensive and I was afraid I'd love it....
  • <.< I'll just drop mah two cents in here: If you have ketosis it means you are burning off ketones- those of which have a sweet aroma- I'm assuming that's how you know you have ketone bodies in your urine; cause it smells like cherries or almond paste- at least that's what ketones smell like in lab. Eat more sugars because…
  • The fact that they are eating graham crackers, yogurts and cereals should be making you happy. The stuff I ate when I was younger was atrocious, it makes your kids look like food angels- and honestly that wasn't that long ago for me lol- and looking back because I was active it didn't make a huge difference in my weight. I…
