  • I wish you much success!
  • I will second the spinning class. You're least likely to "make a fool of yourself" in a class where all you have to dfo is pedel a bike. Personally I take yoga/pilates (although not cardio..it DEFINATELY helps build stregnth and flexibility)..spinning, weight lifting classes, body combat, step classes ad something called…
  • do you like nuts? They're a good source of protein and are a higher calorie food...designer whey is the protein powder I use, and also pure protein protein bars..might be a quick way to get some calories in you that also is high in protein and low in carbs etc.
  • ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! I did WW years ago...and guess what? I wound up eating almost 500-700 calories a day MORE than if I'd just counted the calories myself. Fruit AND vegetables are supposedly "free" now??...see how much weight you lose while eating 8 bananas a day...
  • awesome job! You should be VERY proud of yourself :-)
  • what gym do you go to? do they offer any kind of weight training class or is there anyone there you cvould as for some help? the key is going to be to start light and build as your stregnth increases...never work the same muscle group 2 days in a row, and never work your muscles to the point of fatigue. I lift 3-4 days a…
  • and here's why I think that's total crap: I've experimented over the years with exercise..I've gained and lost over 100 lbs 5 seperate tyimes in my life (I have 7 children)...I've tried..just eating right..I've tried just exercise...i've tried just cardio...and I've tried just stregnth training... Here's what works: eating…
  • My husband weighs himself every day...but because the scale can fluctuate several pounds here and there...I only weigh in once a week.
  • seems to me that your HR is too high first of all...and when you keep your HR in that zone for more than a few minutes at a time..you actually become anaerobic which means you're defeating the whole purpose of exercise because you're not burning fat. 1300 calories is too low to eat on regular basis. MFP should tellyou…
  • I had 110 lbs to lose.. I've lost just over 60 so far. Feel free to add me too :)
  • nope it doesn't. and for me almost EVERY day is like they say "if every day was like today"...I get close...like maybe within 5-7lbs
  • change up your exercise routine... ex: if you're walking try interval training alternating running for short spurts and walking...mix up your calories...go higher one day and lower the next...the key is to "trick" your body so it doesn't adapt to a particular routine...that's when the plateau sets in. Good luck!
  • I created a new exercise and using the Les Mills guidelines for calorie burn..that's how I logged it
  • Try the c25K program for treadmills. Agreed that you need to increase the amount of time you can run..the speed at which you run will naturally increase as you increase your time. I run 5.3 MPH which is an 11:19 mile.
  • I hear you...everytime I get pregnant I gain anywhere from 60-100lbs...I have 7 kids...do the math! LOL! Ihad just lost 80lbs 2 years ago...was 7lbs from my goal and I found out my 1 year old was on the way...best reason I can think of to gain weight but taking it off is geting harder and harder. Good luck to you! Leslie
