Reading this makes me wonder whether I need to bump up my calories too. I have about 5 pounds left to lose and I have been at the same weights for a long time ( although I am more interested in body fat loss than the scale)
-
How much do you weigh? How tall are you? Are you logging correctly? Weighing food?
-
Your body doesn't shut down at the end of the day and start again the next day. You can be over today, under tomorrow and bang on the day after. It's about a general pattern.

Mince Pies at Christmas... These are my downfall.

No. Also what is wrong with Cheetos?

Why does it HAVE TO BE a 1000 calorie deficit? That is huge. I think this will be extremely detrimental to your health , weight loss goals and is probably very hard to maintain anyway.
-
Are you eating at a deficit? What is your TDEE? BMR? etc
-
Hi I had this issue but I think it affects people in different ways. I think , for me, that most of it is water..so maybe increasing your water intake will help.

BUMP

Are you logging consistently? I see a few empty days in your diary.
-
Why not choose the Moderately Active option instead?

LOL...wow what a loser!

But why and how is water crucial for metabolism?

Hi I want to lose about 10% of my body fat( I am around the 30% mark now) I lift and eat at TDEE 20%. So far, even though the scale isn't moving much and the body fat isn't changing I DO see some changes in my body. My question is, if the scale is not 100% accurate how can I ever get an accurate TDEE? I am eating 1800…

Doesn't excessive stress on the body ( which is what excessive cardio for an extended period of time is ) raise the level of cortisol which can can cause metabolic damage? I could be completely wrong but I'm sure I have seen that before on here....

Thanks everyone. This makes sense to me. I was feeling a little demoralised especially given that my stomach fat doesn't seem to be shifting but I understand that stomach fat is harder to shift. I will work on getting the body fat measuring right.

Aah ok. I've included exercise in my calcs and don't eat exercise cals back so I guess I'm doing it right. Thanks
-
I always thought that you don't eat exercise cals back on TDEE?? If that's the case I'm doing it all wrong. Can someone please confirm.....
