For me it was sort of a case of noticing what I was wearing seemed a bit baggy so I went shopping and realised that I'd dropped a size without noticing!

A few years back I bought myself a salad that came in a box and when I opened it I found a live caterpillar! I sent it back to the producers of it and in return they sent me vouchers for a load of free stuff from their other ranges

Me: 4 Binge: 6 Been having a lot of family issues and I live away from home and for the last few days I've completely lost it and no matter what I tell myself I just dont stop. I've made a plan and completely emptied the house of all junk food so I hope tomorrow will truly be my final 'it will be different' and i can move…

I find my main trigger is being upset, sadly the past 2 days I've been binging because of a family issue and am preparing myself for the week as I know it's going to be difficult but I find that when I'm binging if someone mentions a certain food I will often start craving it and going and getting it for myself!

Eating out is only a rare occurrence for me, mainly special occasions or when I go and visit my family so when I do I will have whatever I like, sometimes I'll look at the menu beforehand but that's because I'm stupidly indecisive and I don't want annoy the people I'm with sitting there trying to decide what to have!

Me: 3 The Binge: 2 Had a busy day and was nearly triggered several times but glad I didn't!

Me -2 Binge - 2 Managed to resist my urges and forced myself to be strong! Definitely proud of todays achievement

Me: 1 Binge: 2 Sadly, I've been beaten twice and it's only the 3rd of the month!!! But I am down visiting my parents at the moment and they load their house with junk and I just get triggered so easily, I'm going back to mine Friday morning so as long as I make it through tomorrow I should be good for the rest of the month…

First time I've done this but totally going to give it my best April 2013: David - 1 The Binge - 1 I was a bit wild over the Easter weekend and ended up giving in yesterday to all the leftover food but now it's almost all gone so time to look ahead!

Ive cheated like there is no tomorrow! I think I would cry if I could see how much I've had today, I'm roughly guessing around 6000-7000+ calories, but tomorrow is a new day, and a new month so it's back on track and time to push myself to make up for today

Feel free to add me - I've already lost the majority of the weight I planned on doing and slowly moving into maintenance

I have 2 friends that try to do this to me, and every time I have to shout at them because they don't listen to me! One time when I was visiting them they even went to McDonalds and I went with them, I had already had lunch before going in so I saved them a table as it was busy, they came over with meals for both…

I've literally just started working on my binging problem. I will often go a few days perfectly fine but then I'll reach for one treat and go wild, often consuming an extra 3000-4000 calories in one sitting. My current plan is to not restrict my diet, I found the reason I binge is because I restrict myself on what I can…

Well done on your progress so far :) Feel free to add me as well!

Hey, feel free to add me, its always good to make new friends, keep each other motivated and give out advice. I know from my own experience that with help it is a lot easier and enjoyable with others encouraging you each step of the way!

Thanks for all the help everybody, I've read through all your replies are they've really been helpful to me! I've slept and do feel bad for myself about this problem but I've also received a lot of messages that I cannot be more thankful for with all sorts of advice and tips to help myself. I'm going to change the way I…

And just to add, it has gone to the point in especially bad binges that I have driven to the store and gone crazy in the chocolate aisles, buying anything and everything I can see, then I will sit in my car and eat and eat and eat. It's horrible and I do hate myself for it at times!

If you really love takeaways I'd say don't force yourself to give them up, or at least completely. If you have a cheat day or meal in your diet then I'd say pick that day to have a takeaway, and if you want to get off them completely just buy less than what you'd normally have so if for example you ordered pizza and…

banana and cinnamon are my favourite but a lot of the time i look at what fruit i have lying around, slice it up and chuck it in! trying out new combinations and seeing what works is always enjoyable, also nuts go well with most things but i just enjoy experimenting with different flavours and toppings

I drink water like no tomorrow, I'll easily make it through 18+ cups of it a day and that's usually the minimum amount I have

The only thing I input before is my food and that's because each week I make myself a meal plan, mainly because I have such a restricted budget I like to plan my meals and then go out and buy only the things I need for those, so in a way it has helped but it's much more a financial thing rather than a sticking to targets…

When I stood on the scales and weighed at least 40lbs more than I told myself I was, then I decided it definitely needed to change!

I log my breakfast, lunch and dinner for the week in one go, mainly because I have a meal plan and I know what I'll be having each day, however I make sure I leave room fro snacks and any extras so small things I will add as I have them
