  • Success in archery elk in MT. See first couple of pics in profile. Its open. This guy scored 359 B&C (could put in in Pope and Young registry if I wanted). Fun DIY hunt on MT public dirt. I have taken a few elk in that country.

  • Hoyt Charger. 67#. Practice pretty much year round. Most of my hunts now are western hunts (elk, deer and some turkey). Grew up in TN where I did a lot of whitetail hunting.

  • In states that allow mechanicals-- Montec G5 T3. They leave wicked blood trails. In states that don't allow mechanicals-- Montec G5 or standard Muzzy. Taken deer and elk with both.
