  • You'll be the group moderator, so you can either keep the group private or have it open to anyone to join.
  • I highly recommend this challenge. Even if you get wait listed. One of the best run groups I've come across. I did 7 terms before having to sit out the last couple due to surgeries. Definitely hope to be able to return to Hogwarts soon.
  • Hey all. Sounds like there is some confusion. I'm a veteran of MFP and the groups. Been around for over 2 years. The challenges are something sponsored by UnderArmour. @cryptobrit, what you want to do, is create a group. Then people can join or be invited. Anyone from across the world who is a member here can join. This…
  • Episode 4, A New Hope. Han Solo, need I say more. I'm currently looking at my Han Solo action figure sitting on my computer as I type this.
  • I got mine at Walmart for around $20 bucks. Does everything I need it to. Measures in ounces and grams. I use it every time I cook now. Much more accurate for certain stuff like cheese and such
  • My fiance makes us homemade egg mcmuffins. Egg beaters, one slice american cheese and Canadian bacon on a low fat english muffin.Sometimes sliced jalepenos. He makes them in advance, I'm talking like for 3 weeks at a time and freezes them. A couple mins in the microwave and you have breakfast. It takes investing several…
  • Welcome Kimberlie, if you serious, this site really helps. Feel free to add me, I try to comment and like my friends posts, without being a liking *kitten*. LOL.
  • Nerds Rule! Hi, my name is Holly. I am a huge Potter head, Star Wars and Lego's nerd. Just got the new Ghostbusters set last night. Don't do much online gaming besides Kingdoms of Camelot on my phone/tablet. Got wayyy too obsessed with it for like 6 months and had to back out of that some too. It started taking…
  • My, boyfriend, well now fiance, and I started together in Jan. Bought a treadmill, started counting calories and making better choices about food etc. I'm not even thinking about wedding dresses or anything. Its still sinking in that I'm engaged. Only thing I know for certain is who I'm asking to be my MOH. Congrats again,…
  • Wow, congrats on what how far you've come. You're gonna look stunning walking down the aisle. I just got engaged on Tuesday. While I don't consider myself a bride yet, I am working towards similar goals of losing weight and generally looking good. Feel free to add me. I try to be supportive, liking and commenting on my…
  • Its always nice having a support system, online or RL. I have both. I recently joined one of the groups on here and have a great group of "friends." It helps me to get that extra little "atta girl" so to speak. A comment or a like about my progress. Feel free to send me a FR. And good luck with your journey
  • I plan my meals out for 3-4 days in advance, so eating on the weekends isn't an issue for me. But on the same token, if I do eat out, then as long as it fits into my macros, then I don't worry too much.
  • Yes, after you finish logging for the day, if you decide to eat something else, you should see the option to make addtl entries to your diary
  • First off, have fun. I'm on vacation next week too. Me and the boyfriend are planning on eating healthy for breakfast and lunch and eating a sensible dinner. Not to say that we arent going to splurge and have some good ole greasy diner food when in NJ. But I would say, enjoy yourself. Don't be so worried about counting…
  • I was the same way. I knew I needed to lose weight, but looking in the mirror, thought I looked good. Then seeing pictures of myself made me look and feel like a beached whale. After being about 25 lbs slimmer and a dress size smaller, I am finally looking better in pictures. Still have a ways to go on my journey but I'm…
  • Anything more then a pound a week lose is aggressive. My starting weight was 199 and I set my goal at 1lb a week and haven't been disappointed yet. I'd rather lose at a moderate pace and be able to create an entire lifestyle change along the way so I can maintain my lose once I hit my goal weight
  • Being able to wear any pair of my jeans and not having a muffin top. Fitting into a smaller size dress in time for my best friends wedding. Going to Old Navy and fitting into a medium shirt without feeling like a stuffed sausage :)
  • Kernal Seasons White Cheddar seasoning. Serving size is 1/4 tsp at 2 calories. So not bad. Kinda high in sodium at 75mg per serving, but unless your pouring half the bottle, not too bad. overall
  • Depends. Sometimes I crave salty stuff, other times its sweets and usually Ben and Jerrys. I will splurge once in awhile. If I go over on my calories one or 2 days a month, its not the end of the world for me. I will still workout though. Thank goodness for the treadmill being in my house
  • Depends on how your cooking it, but I do the same thing, cook 3-4 nights worth at once, dish out the complete meal in Pyrex dishes and then me and my boyfriend can heat it up later. We work opposite schedules during the week. I've never had any issues with chicken or pork chops being too dry myself.
  • Well for starters, you only have a small amount to lose, so the pounds will come off slower. Losing inches is sometimes better though as it means your gaining muscle. Also unless you weigh your food, you may be consuming more calories then you even realize. You can still eat the junk food, its all about being at a calorie…
  • Me and my boyfriend do our major shopping once a month. We try and plan meals that will have leftovers for 3 or 4 days. Lots of frozen chicken and veggies. And organic brown rice from Costco. We don't limit anything, like saying no pasta, just smarter choices, like whole wheat pasta etc. As for actual meals. I love my Cook…
  • I would be interested. I am a huge HP nerd
  • Mmmm salt and vinegar. Love that flavor combo. I've been known to drown my french fries in malt vinegar, salt and ketchup. May sound gross, but once you try it, you'll understand.
  • I was using the sugar free creamers too. They are loaded with stuff thats not so good for you. I switched to fat free half and half and stevia for sweetness. It works for me and I am definitely one of those people that like coffee with their creamer
  • While I happen to like a beard on a guy, I agree that it could be trimmed and shaped a little. You can keep the length, but your wife may like it better it was shaped a little more. Just my suggestion.
  • I found a great recipe for "fake" ice cream sandwiches. http://alidaskitchen.com/2012/06/16/strawberries-and-cream-sandwiches/ Super easy, low calorie, under 100 per serving. You could substitute other berries or I suppose chocolate chips even for something different.
  • Whatever one you chose, make sure you check the compatability with your phone, I found out the hard way that the flex doesnt worh with my older model smart phone
  • Seeing my clothes fit just a little bit better. Going to Walmart and buying a dress from the Juniors Dept in a size large where I normally have to buy an XL-2XL and then not having that fit the "girls" most of the time. Its the little things.
