Why give up? why waste all the time and effort you have put into lossing 50lbs?!?! Weight loss is a marathon. You have to keep going keep trying. I agree with aaron. Dont drop your calories so low just because you dont see a difference. Your body needs those calories to keep doing the workouts your doing. Change up your…

You have to remember...when you lose weight it comes from everywhere..Feet thighs arms back butt chest face!!! I didnt really see a difference on myself till about 20lbs. Once the water weight is off then i started to see small changes. I have lost 7 inces on my waist... I still dont see it.. i know i have lost the inches…

I sync mine with my computer.. have an android so it doesnt sync with my phone... But normally during the day while at work or out with the kids i still log food on MFP with my one i see my real time calorie burn so i can make an educated guess on where i need to be.. its pretty useful. I have to admit.. by the afternoon…

I have an IUD.. and because my body is always a bit different i start feeling the begining of my period a week or more before i start... thats when the bloating starts.. its amazing after you have lost some weight you really feel the difference when you have some water retention. anyways... i feel bloated and you can see…

i have had that before.. where my scale doesnt really move for a few weeks.. but i loose inches. Your body is getting into shape. YOu are building muscle (not alot but alittle) and fat is being burned. So good chance you are not seeing a change in scales but maybe check measurements. I know for a bit i was getting mad…

a fitbit is a pedometer... but there is more.. for me its motivation. I see how many steps i have done and i think... i can do more. It shows you on a realtime base calories burned as according to your BMR. Shows when your very active and when your being lazy.. you can add MFP friends and to do more. You can log nonstep…

i just recenly bought mu fitbit.. and i love it.. it was an eye opener on how active i am when out and about.. and when working..and when i am lazy and i see that my step count is low.. i get up and move lol. Dont want everyone on my list to pass me by. i do zumba and some dance at home and walk alot during work.. so i log…

I do zumba at home 3-4 days a week.. and inbetween zumba days i do Wii fit or just dance.. or at home workout (jumping jacks squats the whole thing) I have my kids during the day and work nights till 2am. So i only fit in about 45min to an hour. I have lost almost 22lbs now and very proud of myself. Its all about finding…

I jump on the scales everyday.. but i only write it down once a week. It really gives you an idea of how much fluctuation your weight goes through. Also really shows what salty meals and foods does to your body (I love pizza) But i know the next day that my weight will be up.. and after a few days its back down. Keeps me…

Just looking at your diary the one thing i see.. is you dont eat any of your excercise calories back. If you look into you reports and look at net calories it looks like most days you are at a net of 800-900 calories. Some days lower. From what i have understood is that when you are eating at such a low net its harder to…

I have posted this same question.. and what i have seen.. is that those calculations are educated guesses. I am currently eating below my bmr. All depends on activity levels, your starting weight your bmi body fat everything plays a part in your weight loss. The numbers you get from the calculators are starting points.…

My main goal is 180.. so its more like 55 still to go... i am very happy with my 10lbs. And i dont try to weigh my self on a daily basis.. but i have wii fit.. which i do every other day. Mostly yoga and the muscle work outs. ok.. and super hula hoop cause that just kills my mid section lol. I normally have to look on…

First off.. i am happy with a steady slow weight loss.. took me years to put it on and it will take atleast a few to take it off. Dont be defined by the scale. Depending on what kind of work outs your doing maybe you are loosing weight slowly but building that muscle. Toned arms and a nice bottom looks better in a dress…

I understand your problems with workouts. My husband works during the day and i work nights.. and we have 2 kids (4 &2) So figuring out work outs have been difficult. I am starting a 30 day challenge with push ups.. something you can do a few through out the day.. i also love my Wii. i use zumba and wii fit plus.. and i do…

Welcome to MFP!! I started also recently (about 2 weeks ago) and i am still feeling confident. Although seeing the scale go backwards is always nice.. what i want to feel good about myself. Because of schedules i am not able to hit the gym.. so i do all my workouts at home. I even looked up some beginners 30 day…

I tried to explain that his friend is extremely healthly and i obese.. so for me just starting a program is a big step. Counting and weighing everything is step and an eye opener to what i put into my body. So i am proud of myself. I am my own work in progress.
