Oh and are you eating enough or too much? Weigh your food. It will make a big difference.

Phase 2 of the P90X program is where I saw more significant changes in my body. You've already made great progress! Just give it some time. Doesn't Tony Horton say in one of the videos that Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is your body? Something like that

weigh your food. you're eating more than you think.

pizza. (I love pizza lol) just plan your day accordingly from the get go and you can fit it within your calorie goal. :drinker:

+1 for the underestimating, overestimating or both.
-
Absolutely. Focus on the payoff. I remind myself that for every snack I pass up when I'm not hungry but rather bored, the closer I get to my goal. Sometimes I give in. Hell life is too short. But each day is a new opportunity to improve. Hang in there.

I've learned something very important from this thread. Ice cream can fix most problems. What a long strange rocky road it's been...... :drinker:

I have pizza every Friday. It's great. I've lost 21 lbs since Christmas. Don't let one meal bother you :) Enjoy the pizza.

i work out after work. Some days it's hard to get going. I'm doing P90X3 which means I have 30 min workouts. No matter how I feel I've promised myself I'll turn on the DVD. I keep telling myself that if I quit then I won't change. I want to change. I want to stay healthy. I cannot stop. I give 100% the entire work out.…

Push :) When you're body can't take any more, it will tell you.

Special K caramel and chocolate protein bars. I think they put crack in them. Sooooooooo good.
-
+1 I agree with this.

I work out every day. I don't do cardio every day. I don't weight train every day. A variety of workouts helps avoid muscle fatigue at least in my experience. I'm doing P90X3 and so every 4th week is also a "recovery" week. I don't take any days off unless my body tells me i need to rest.

I can't imagine being so hungry that this "pizza" would sound good. Points for creativity. Penalty for grossness.

Pizza and any kind of Chinese food :) Yum! On a side note, I stopped drinking Monster energy drinks a week ago. Wow they are addicting! I'm kinda proud of myself for getting rid of those

Log what you eat not what's on your plate. I guesstimate the amount I eat if I don't clear my plate. I tend to overestimate a little just to be safe and to not stress over my daily calories.

What type of long term eating habits have you developed in the last 3 1/2 months? I'm concerned with you losing roughly 14 lbs a month. Are you going to be able to keep that weight off long term? I look at changing your diet as changing your lifestyle. I eat as healthy as I can now. It wasn't always that way. A byproduct…

TDEE is like Ta Da. After polishing off the 2 Big Macs you yell Ta Da! Then pat yourself on the back as you've met a daily goal.
-
By my calculations you're approximately 4,364,098,389,028,201 over your daily caloric goal. As others have stated, switch to diet coke and you're golden.

The best part of trying to eat right and working out is that you have your lifetime to work on it. There will be other stomach bugs, real life things that pop up, and other general obstacles that will present a challenge. Don't give up and keep working at it. Eating right and working out is a lifestyle not a "program". Get…
