I love eating vegan, I feel wonderful, my cholesterol has come down. As to protein, I feel I get enough, with all the whole grains, vegetables. My only suppliment is vit D and B-12 from nutritional yeast . I wish I could go back in time and have started this life many years ago.

I became a vegan ethical and to get cholesterol down without drigs. I like to eat and i lost weight easily. No processed food!. Except 4 wassa crackers. Lots of veg fruit and beans.. no sugar. Norhing fried. Chol came down too

Congratulations. That is my motivation.. I refuse to buy new stuff as I have plenty that I can't squeeze into. Get rid of the "fat clothes". If an item starts to feel tight. you know your getting off track.. Way to go!!

I take 1/2 cup raw oatmeal, add 1/4 to 1/3 fresh or usually frozen blueberries, 2 chopped dates, add water to cover in a big enough bow. microwave till cooked. Fills me up till lunch. I agree, Quinoa is an excellent choice of protein and is a better substitute for white rice, pasta etc. I have found millett to be a great substitute as well. It costs so much less which is a bonus, and same amount of protien, 1/2 the fat and almost the same in vitamins. Great to have cooked in fridge to add to assorted…
