  • I have a bag of mini chocolates in my drawer at work that are only about 50 cal each. They're my rewards for getting things done and I never log them. I cut myself off after 3 if I'm having a particularly productive day.
  • I take a Womens One-A-Day just to round my diet out and cover things that might be missing. I find that it really helps my energy levels and immune system if nothing else, and as a woman making sure you get all your calcium for the day is never a bad thing. My SO also has a wimpey immune system so he takes Vitamin C and…
  • For something that's specifically spicy, i do something with lactose in it to balance it out (then again i'm a wimp when it comes to spice!)
  • If he's a clingy person in general, maybe the key is involving him. Maybe there's class/activity that you both can enjoy together. For me and my bf, we go kayaking and play tennis together, that way he feels involved in that aspect of my life too. Maybe instead of one of your normal workouts you two can go for a hike or go…
  • I like The Firm Express. It's a series of 20 min workouts that cycle every month (designed to be 3x a week for 4 weeks). I like it because each workout is different, so it isn't the same thing over and over. Even though they're just 20 min they work up a great sweat and are easily modifiable for easier/harder workouts.
  • Leftover shrimp fra diavolo with wild rice. Maybe a chocolate chip cookie for dessert!
  • My goal is to lose 1 lb a week, I've got a moderate activity level, calorie goal is 1460. I usually eat back most of my calories. If anything I might just be about 200 calories below my limit on my big burn days.
  • Some little things I do are to stay active are use a yoga ball instead of a rolley desk chair, take the stairs instead of the elevator, do some reverse situps on my ball, and just stretch every few hours.
  • I used to be 115 lbs when I was younger and super active. I lead a different lifestyle now and have different physical limitations, so I don't think that getting back down to that weight is realistic. While 135 lbs is still edging on "overweight" for 5'3", I'm quite curvy so I have to take that into consideration. It's not…
  • I'm one of those people that experiences the opposite. If I workout at the beginning of my TOM it makes my cramps worse! I usually take a couple of days off but then jump right back in. It all depends on what feels right for you.
  • I used to do a mix of pole dancing and floor/chair dancing twice a week. It really helped me burn fat and build muscle. It improved my strength, flexibility, and my confidence! As has been echoed before, eating right is going to be a big part of your journey. But I think it's a great type of exercise, would never have…
  • I had the same problem coming back home after my trip to Disney World. It's hard to go back to plain veggies and yogurt after a week of rich, delicious food, but you just have to jump back in! I forced myself to go right back into my routine, not give myself the post-vacation-vacation to catch back up. You can do it!
  • Zumba is my go-to right now. I really love it, it gets the heart pumping and it's fun! But, the thing that always worked best for me was pole/burlesque dancing. Does wonders for both the body and confidence!
  • I STILL don't feel comfortable in a gym. For a while I made myself go and just deal with the insecure feeling, but my motivation would wane pretty quickly because it was so uncomfortable and I would just stop going all together. I bought some workout DVDs and dumb bells and started waking up before my bf to work out. It…
  • I have to do 3 square meals or I get cranky! I might do an afternoon snack since I start to get hungry around 4 or 5 since we don't eat dinner until around 8 so I don't overeat at dinner
  • I love chicken parm! This is a great slimmed down version!
  • Current Height: 5'2" Weight: 151 (started mfp at 160) 40-30-41 (cwh) Goal Weight: 135 38-28-38
  • 24 and looking to shed my extra "love"!
