I raised my calories about 2 months ago...don't know what I weigh because I haven't weighed myself. My pants are wayyyy to tight though. Seriosly, I can't wear them, so I bought bigger clothes to wear while I fix my body from all those years of starving. Even as a personal trainer, I couldn't figure out why I wasn't…

I want to be just like her when I grow up!

I spent about an hour on this website this morning and there are some really great recipes on there! The protein greek yogurt bites look great too. I have some in the freezer now!
-
I do "like" it and I might copy you on Friday and do this myself! This week is just cardio for me (recovery week from lifting), I could use the motivation!
-
I've nevr made a recipe without changing something either :) . I just made Kiki's Sour Crea cupcakes yesterday and changed several things...hey, they have less calories! I am going to try to make these today!
-
Kiki, I know it looks like they were all over the place but I just didn't finish logging for 2 days. My husband had been gone for 2 1/2 weeks and he came home Wed. I didn't log that day becuase it was a crazy day (coming home, not coming home...coming home...oh no, it'll be a few more days...ok, I am coming home at…

Thanks guys! I usually don't eat anything processed either. I went for about 2 months not eating anything from a package! Seriously, the bacon was just cuz the kids wanted it. It is filled with "stuff" though, that's true. I was going to cut back on my sodium elsewhere. I did go over a few days, usually I am under on…

Honestly...one of the funniest thinbgs ever! And w have all thought, at some point, that it was okay to eat that many Net calories! I feel not so smart right now, thatnks for putting it into perspective!

I agree that slow is better, however, your diary is a mess! Sorry, but true. You have been completely inconsistant, atleast for the past week. You have 300 cals over, quick add 25oo cals, quick add 1400 cals, 1200 cals...how do you know that you ate 2500 and 1400 cals....guessing won't cut it! You have to KNOW how many…

You rock! It's just that simple!!!! Thank you!

Count me in too! I have been fighting the last 10 pounds for 3.5 years, since the birth of my fourth child! I raised my calories because of lifting heavier weights and the scale has made me not happy recently! I need to give my body time to adjust without being sad and frustrated! NO SCALE THIS MONTH!!!!

Hi! You don't really need calories for breastfeeding a 15 month old. I nursed 4 babies till they were 14-16 months old and by the time they are a year old, you really don't need the exra calories anymore. That's assuning that the toddler eats a fair amount of solid foods. I also pumped about 6-8 times per day, inbetween…

Yum, Yum, Yum!!!

bump for yumminess!

MFP asks for lifesytyle because someone who exercises or moves a lot (as opposed to a desk job), has a higher BMR. You burn more calories at rest when you exercise regularly.

Last week, I changed my goal to maintenance, so I could see my deficit. I started leaving just a few hundred leftover everyday for my deficit and I lost a pound, after not losing for almost 2 months. I tried eating less (no exercise cals) and scale stayed almost exactly the same. I burned almost 27,000 calories in January,…
-
I loooked at your diary and didn't see any fruits or veggies for the last 3 days, atleast? You must eat those! What are you set up to lose on MFP 1 pound? two pounds per week? Whatever the deficit is, might be too much. I have heard that when you only have a little to lose, your deficit shouldn't be more than about 250…
-
I think 2360 is probably your TDEE not your RMR (resting matabolic rate). Why don't you set your goal on MFP to maintain your weight, put your exercise in an dthen leave about 400-800 calories left over every night. I have doen this, along with several other MFP friends...it gives you a clearer picture of whay your deficit…

Hi! Too many times when my alarm goes off, I didn't get up. It took about a month of doing it everyday...even on weekends to be really ready to get up. If I don't get up and get started at around 5am (I get up at 5 and have coffee first...wake up for about 30 minutes), it doesn't get done. Every now and then, I turn it off…

Saving for later...yum!

YUM! BUMP!

I am 5'3 and 122 pounds...trying to lose that last 7 pounds. I had my goal set the same as you did...2 lbs per week and lost nothing. I kept reading, like you, the posts about eating more and losing. I raised my calories to 1400...still nothing. I would put my exercise in, but I always left a deficit....sometimes as much…

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/23912-links-in-mfp-you-want-to-read-again-and-again I think you should read these links. I looked and you haven't eaten all of your calories at all for the last week. Your goal some days was over 2000 and you left 1000 on some days. When you set up mfp...it already made the deficit…

Hi! You said you are nursing a toddler? Not a baby...how old is she? After a year, you really don't need any extra calories for breastfeeding. I nursed 4 babies and pumped sevaeral times per day to donate to a human milk bank (strange, I know. They need the milk for babies who might otherwise die...if mom doesn't produce…

You know I have the same problem... I am trying something new. I set my goal to maintenance and then I am leaving a certain amt of calories at the end of the day, so I can see my deficit. I know, it might just be mental, but it's worth a shot. Maybe seeing my deficit, instead of just knowing it's there will help me to eat…
