I used to have an older style treadmill that was manual. It had the pin type system with 3 levels of incline. A lot of the lower end ones on Amazon say manual.
-
Seriously how I did it before. Best way IMO because I never felt deprived of things I wanted so it was easier to portion out my indulgences rather than cut them out completely.

4 months postpartum! I was in the best shape of my life before baby and then I got huge, lazy and ate a lot of ice cream lol. I jumped back in last week and have now dropped 4.4 pounds! I'm hopeful it'll come off quickly since I know exactly what works for me! I'd love to be motivational friends!!

Thank you all for your words of encouragement and advice! I haven't been able to get any workouts in yet this week but I've completely cleared out my fridge and stocked it with healthy choices like I previously had done! Veggies are prepped and packaged for easy access to further my success! I feel good about this go now!

She's almost 4 months. She had colic the first 2 so that was rough too. Now we're at a point where we can accomplish some things! We walk to pick up her sister from school and intrubtonsqueeze in quick workouts while she naps!

Thank you! Maybe a good written out food plan would be a great way for me to start, something visual!
-
I totally am just trying to jump back into who I used to be. Thank you for putting that into perspective for me! Thank you for your advice!!

I've Bren a little behind during this (posting wise) but I've been staying on track! I wasn't able to weigh myself yesterday morning but I did today! :) Starting challenge weight: 180.4 This week: 178.8
-
Yayyy!! I'm IN!
-
All I drink is water, black coffee or tea. I just don't drink much of anything sometimes. That's my struggle!
-
Don't stress about the "end" of the challenge! The whole point is, you've made progress! The holidays are always chaotic and extremely stressful when you're trying to eat well. I find the more that I tell myself "no" and beat myself up over it, the worse I eat. If I go in with the mindset that I'm just going to enjoy…

Thank you all for the support!!

179.6 for me! I'm just excited about being in the 170's at all!! I weighed 209 in 7th grade so I don't ever remember seeing that on a scale!! Ever. I'm very proud that I've accomplished losing weight at all these past few weeks because I haven't been working out. It had put me in a bit of a funk for a little while. I…

Thanks for posting this. My mini holiday vacation got away from me and I didn't even realize it was Sunday until late in the evening!! Whoops! I was running behind this morning so I didn't weigh myself. And my living situation is still a freaking disaster right now. I'm beyond frustrated and completely stressed out. We're…

Don't be so hard on yourself! The words of encouragement already told to you are spot on. Take a deep breath! You're all kicking my butt in this challenge! I don't know that I've even made it to 10 pounds yet. But that's ok! I knew 20lbs would be a killer, especially because it's much harder for me to lose these days. 1200…

We made it at the same time lol. I lost one pound this week, regardless of all my stress and tough start I had with food! Last week: 184.3 This week: 183.2
-
I didn't reply but I read your tips!! Thank you! I'm gathering myself and pulling it together. Haven't worked out but my conscious food decisions have now helped me lose a pound this week!!
-
I had the same experience as far as it's never been a problem up until the past couple of months. Maybe it was because I was bigger and never really noticed how bloated I actually get? It's pretty drastic though! I typically end up "gaining" 2-3 pounds over the course of it just from that I'm assuming. Once it's said and…

I despise push ups. Almost as much as I hate burpees. But they're my weakest point during any kind of workout. They're not going to improve by avoiding them!
-
I incorporated my pushups in with my workout yesterday too! Today is a rest day technically but I'll be doing them anyway! I'll just stretch them throughout the day. :)
-
No change for me this week. Holding strong at 184. I'm not super concerned though. I worked hard this week. I'm just finishing "that time" and all of us know how that goes! Not that I've eaten poorly, just really bloated feeling. I may update this mid-week when I'm feeling back to normal!

I used my first and last name. Combined, this was my workout: 50 squats 140 jumping jacks 50 burpees - EW! 15 push ups 4 minutes of wall sits 20 second arm circles It took me 35 minutes (with stretching before & after) and according to my heart rate monitor, I burned 336 calories. I was pushing HARD though, adding jumps at…

Not pathetic at all! I've had similar let downs and it really is just a crushing feeling when you get your hopes up so high. It'll happen when it's meant to happen! I'm glad you were able to get out and vent your feelings though! Hope you're feeling better. :)
-
I'll be doing mine tonight!
-
10 is better than 0! Good work!
-
I have JUST gotten to a point where I feel like I can rock out a few solid burpees.. And I've been doing them on and off since January! There's all sorts of variations that could help you work up to a standard one though.
-
I literally laughed so hard! I couldn't even read it out loud to my boyfriend at first haha. Thank you!!
-
Holy smokes! You're all rocking this out!!! Fantastic job! You all have really helped keep me focused and on track, mostly. Sometimes I turn into a rebellious teenager and do what I want! And then I regret it lol. Thank you all for being an inspiration and being so dedicated! Great things come to those who work for it! ;)
-
I might not make it out myself!! I have a long name lol. Use just your first name. I used first and last. Modify it to your level! 50 squats 140 jumping jacks 50 burpees - EW! 15 push ups 4 minutes of wall sits 20 second arm circles

Don't ever feel disappointed! Progress is progress and is not determined by a number! I GAINED a few pounds last week but shoot, I had also made it through an entire set of mountain climbers AND burpees and I was still excited. In no way did I let it drag me down. Be proud of every accomplishment you make! Those NSV's are…
