Hello - you all can feel free to add me! I love supermom support! I have three children (ages 6, 4, 4) I stay at home but I keep myself busy with getting my masters of social work online and my twin boys have a life threatening syndrome that requires a lot of travel time to doctors appts and therapies. I have lost over 50…

Thank you everyone!!

I'm not sure...

I am assuming its only tablespoon of cream and a teaspoon of sugar but I dont want to assume lol

A very good point. I have been stuck in my weight loss for about 4 months now and whild I am not at my goal weight...about 10 - 20 lbs away. It is good to think that yes I can maintain a weight...now only to lose thosefew remining lbs :)
-
Would you look in the natural section of the market for that?? It sounds good and I think I may also want to try it.
-
I am in the same boat..We will do it!!

Bump for later...what are the cals if you make them into bars?

Just found this on livestrong.com Some spare rib recipes suggest using a pound of ribs per serving because the bones weigh much more than the meat Read more: http://www.livestrong.com/article/320446-how-many-calories-are-in-smoked-spare-ribs/#ixzz1bYX1PHUf

From what I have heard after a workout your muscles retain water to protect themselves and that can lead to a weight gain. Like with lots water retention the best way to get rid of it is to drink lots of water. Good luck!

I believe that "starvation mode" isn't something that happens over night. If you do it one day or even a couple days your body isn't in starvation mode. I would try not to do everyday but if you need some extra cals try eating some almonds or something with high cals but good fat.

That is pretty much what I am looking for. Just if people actually run in the colder weather and with snow on the ground. We don't have any side walks where I live so I would have to make the call when I see the road but if the kids have school it can't be that bad ;)
-
Not sure if this is the "correct" answer but I was going to keep my cal goals the same till I reached my goal weight then start moving it up. Like .5 for the next month then add 100 for the next and so on till I reached maintenance.

I think it depend on the person. If it works for you to not eat them and your losing weight go for it. I usually eat most of them I love food so when I have extra to eat I go for it.
-
love it but my hubby would never go for it :)

not sure what MFP is telling you to eat for net cals but you may not be eating enough. Hard concept to grasp but it might be whats going on. Everyone is different but since I have been with MFP I have fluctuated from my net cals to about 300 under and I have been losing every week. I would make sure you are getting close…
-
it's before cooking. About one cup cooked pasta or 140g is about 220 cals.

If you aren't a runner I would suggest the c25K but you don't have enough time for all 9 weeks. If you started at like wk3 you'd be ok. I ran my first 5K last month. The best tips I got were to chew gum (help with dry mouth when running), and run your own race. When you have lots of others running it's hard to not try to…
