  • We have those things in Canada too, take a good poke around the grocery store next time you’re there! Right now our Superstore has, for Oreo flavours: apple pie, golden, cinnamon bun, and salted caramel.
  • I had ACL replacement surgery a year ago and have another knee surgery coming up next week to deal with complications. I didn't track for a couple months after and ate to satisfy my hunger - recovering was difficult enough without stressing about food! I experienced muscle waste on that leg while waiting for my surgery and…
  • I like mixing a can of V8 with some cottage cheese, hot sauce, and pepper to make a cold 'soup.'
  • I'm quite happy with the Kirkland brand too and find them comparable to Quest Bars. I spread a thin layer of peanut butter on the top of the brownie flavour, so good!
  • Plain Greek yogurt with frozen raspberries, coffee with flavoured creamer, a small banana and chocolate chip muffin with butter, and some chocolate-covered espresso beans.
  • Ugh, I got a container of that stuff when it went on sale at Costco and was also determined not to waste it even though it was nasty. I found it palatable mixed with plain yogurt, cocoa powder, and some coconut milk.
  • When I was recovering from my surgeries last year (meniscus trim and then ACL replacement) I was too depressed and overwhelmed with extensive physio to keep up with tracking. Instead I stuck with the eating habits I picked up while losing weight (lots of veggies, only eating out once a week, keeping 'trigger' foods out of…
  • I used a Phil & Ted's with the extra seat attachment when my second kid was born but didn't start actually jogging with it until the little guy was 1. When he was brand new I could fold the front seat down to make a flat 'bassinet' suitable for a newborn. It worked well for us because it's small and narrow and fits easily…
  • You can set a deficit through Fitbit. I currently have MFP and Fitbit set to a 500/day deficit and eat all of the exercise calories it gives me. Doing this and weighing all of my food I have consistently lost/maintained weight as expected for almost 2 years.
  • Coffee with milk and sugar, dried apricots, chocolate-covered espresso beans, and a small leftover pancake cold out of the fridge with margarine, 330 calories.
  • I actually took a photo of my breakfast today because while it was tasty it looks so sad. Not pictured: coffee.
  • I like a simple version Buffalo cauliflower. I've been making it on the grill: garlic powder, tons of Frank's Red Hot, and butter, wrap everything in a foil packet and cook til done.
  • I have non-breakfast foods a lot. This morning I sautéed some mushrooms, onions, and broccoli slaw, added corn and leftover taco beef, then topped with salsa, plain yogurt, and hot sauce. Good stuff!
  • Not yet, I'm in Canada :( can't wait until I can, though!
  • I've gotten back into rice cakes lately as a quick snack. I like them either with some oil and salt (and sometimes chilli powder) or peanut butter and honey!
  • Yep, apparently my stomach is going to be the last to go. The boobs were first to go, of course!
  • I love the forums, so much useful stuff! I had the same problem and also found the answer here :)
  • I just ate whatever I could stomach, which was often stuff like crackers, fries, carby deliciousness. I never threw up but that constant nausea was awful! Having some cheese and crackers before I even got out of bed helped a bit. Hope you feel better soon!
  • Nibbles still have calories! We're potty training one of my kids right now and rewarding him with peanut M&Ms. I often have one as well, and at 12-ish calories each 3, 4, 5, 10 insignificant little M&Ms over the course of the day can add up. They all get logged!
  • I mix my powder with PB2, cocoa powder, and a splash of vanilla extract and mix it with a cup of unsweetened coconut milk and a cup of water. If I wasn't using a sweetened powder I'd add some maple syrup for sweetness. Once I've mixed it up I put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes to thicken it up even more. Personally…
  • Not a fan of grapes but I love frozen blueberries, there's something about the texture that's just delightful.
  • I'm 31, 5'4", and 130lbs. This was my original goal weight but now that I'm here I'm finding I still have more fat around my middle than I'd like so I plan to keep going (eventually, maintaining at the moment).
  • When I eat frozen meals I usually stick with Lean Cuisines because of the price, but next time Health Choice Steamers are on sale I'm loading up. The one I tried actually looked like the picture on the box and didn't taste half bad! I tend to pair them with a salad or some fruit since they're never quite enough for me.
  • What she said! I still eat sugar of all kinds and my hips are slowly but surely shrinking.

  • Tonight is cheese and leftover steak quesadillas, tomorrow and Wednesday probably ground beef tacos (giant taco salad for me), Wendy's on Thursday (chilli on a giant salad for me), grilled salmon, veggies, and fruit kabobs on Friday. I am boring and eat most things on or with a giant salad. On the weekend I grilled some…
  • I do drink a lot of tea too, mostly herbal, but when it's coffee time nothing else will do ;)
  • When I'm low on calories but still want some coffee I add some cinnamon to black coffee. Not quite sweet but adds a great flavour! Sadly tea does not do it for me.
  • Feel free to add me! I'm eating at maintenance for another couple of weeks while recovering from knee surgery then back to .5-1lb/week :)
  • My best advice would be to not feel like you have to be perfect. Although you're not going to lose weight if you're over every day, or if you're regularly over enough to wipe out your deficit for the week, but once in a while is not the end of the world. Try to figure out why you ended up going over - are you restricting…
  • For sure! I'm the same height as you but have been steady at 130lbs since February because I've been dealing with a bad injury and subsequent surgeries. I finally had my last surgery a month ago and in a couple more weeks I'll be eating at a deficit again for that final push. Here's hoping that's it for medical issues for…
