Mine was around 100 before my surgery. After 100 lbs. of weight loss and a lot more exercise in my life I am now around 66. I even called my doctor because I was scared but he said my heart is just happy now! Such great NSVs!!!

When I was first diagnosed, I did not go Keto. I started off by making better choices. I decided I liked to eat a filling breakfast, like an egg with bacon. Lunch would be a salad with a meat like chicken. Dinner would consist of a meat, starch and a veggie. I tried to keep it simple. I feel like when I added too many…

I am a diabetic also and have lost 92 lbs. so far. Although my A1C is back to normal I am still working to keep diabetes at bay. Always looking for friends!

I am you. I am in therapy right now for binge eating and I am trying to control my urges and heal. One thing that has helped me is finding podcasts that talk about food and binge eating. When I hear others speak about their relationships with food it makes me feel less alone. This is new to me so not a ton of advice but I…

Great job! 5 lbs is awesome! Keep up the great work. IF you feel like you want to do more, then you should. Just remember to make it obtainable and not something that you will dislike later. Find activities that are fun to do.

Thanks for the replies! I do see a personal trainer for my strength training so I do think it is progressive. I am trying to learn to jog but probably do need to practice jogging more. I have no kids so my life is pretty full. I do a lot like hobbies, travel and do enjoy other things besides exercising. I can see where…

I worked my way up to 10k steps a day. I started at 7k a day for a month, then 8k.... Now I am at 10k-12k a day and it feels "normal". I still do workouts on top of this.

I am training for a Mammoth March (20 mile hike - not a competition but should be completed in 8 hours) in Burr Oak, OH. It will be my first biggg hike. I am new to hiking also. I had bariatric surgery in December 2022 so I am new to exercise.

Thanks! I am almost 4 weeks out and feel great!

I got RNY 12/20/22! I would love friends! MFP hates my calorie totals per day but I am within my office recommendations. Let's support each other.

Pre-Op diet doing on now. I have RNY 12/20. I am on day 7 of 14 Liver Shrinking Diet. So far, if I stay away from food I am fine. It will be worth it in the end.

I am on day 3. I am on the highest calorie range. So far I feel great. The workouts are the hardest thing for me right now but I have doing as much as I can and also supplementing with Walk Away the Pounds DVDs. Feel free to add me if you want!

After working in offices for the last 10+ years, I have come to the conclusion -- women are gross. I work in a hospital setting and flush at least 1 toilet a day that someone left. I have this weird problem where I have to flush it if I see it. I feel like if someone walked in after me they would think it was me that left…

I have PCOS too. Low carb really is the best way to go. It is hard, very hard. I usually make it a month then have a bad day or two and go back to it. I wish you the best of luck tho! PCOS really does limit our options as far as diets go.

I am also a PCOS-er. We have been trying to conceive for 5 years now. I have an appt. to see our reproductive endocrinologist on Thursday (Halloween). I am hoping to give Clomid and Ovidrel another try. I am still losing but would love to be able to do both. Every time we try it costs us about $2500 so we try then wait and…

Restarting today as well. I did great from January to April but then started slacking. So today is the day I restart and do this for me!

I thought what she did was a little crude. I may be in the minority also but I thought she was trying really hard to piss off every family council she could. I don't agree with everything they get mad about but this was a bit much for younger viewers. All she had to do was perform well and people would have talked about…

I was diagnosed about a year and a half ago and I was actually happy just to have a diagnosis. I would go without a period for awhile and then I would have one for 3 months non-stop. My OB/GYN did a D&C to see if I had tissue build up but she said it wasn't too bad. From there she diagnosed me with PCOS and with Simple…

First off, I LOVE ARUBA! It is sooo beautiful. We went there on our honeymoon also and we loved it. I would say it would be easy to gain in Aruba but there is a lot to do there also. We climbed Mt. Hoyeburg (sp) and I am sure we burnt tons of calories doing that and also just walking the beach. Enjoy your visit!

Against. I had a tour of the Pittsburgh Zoo last year. They post everywhere about the importance of following the rules and no climbing on or over fences. The mother should have known better and although extremely sad, it was not the Zoo's fault.
