  • I bought some New Balance and Nike cross trainers today. I spent more than I wanted to, but oh well. And I had to look up what cross trainers are. I bought one for work and one for the gym. Hopefully these will last as long as my old ones!
  • but i asked for personal opinions so....
  • I know I can go to a shoe store and ask them, but they're usually trying to push something I can't afford. I really like personal opinions on shoes. I think I'll check out DSW first. That's where I got my current shoes and they've lasted about 5 years. Well...4 years and then died slowly for the last year. Thanks for all…
  • Well, according to HIPAA, they cannot disclose that info without your consent if you're in the US, maybe they have something similar where you are. In addition, telling a therapist that you had a substance abuse issue will not automatically get you that diagnosis. Talk to a therapist about these fears of it affecting your…
  • Are any of those motivating enough for you? I still suggest baby steps and making goals and a daily routine. Dealing with depression and similar symptoms on your own will be difficult. You just have to work through it, ya dig? Fake it till you make it. Do something that makes you feel alive/attractive/happy/free. I've been…
  • go on the profile and click the big green button. Unless you're on mobile, idk.
  • This is something that has to come from inside of you. Being dishonest with health care providers won't help you. You might not even be diagnosed as depressed and if you see a good mental health counselor, they can even work with you without a diagnosis, but that would depend on your insurance or if you're paying out of…
  • How is your motivation? Your liver might motivate you a little, but is it enough to push you to find new coping mechanisms? What do you think is causing the depression and is it something you can control?
  • Hello Debbie! Welcome and congrats on working hard! <3
  • I agree with ana3067, but if your choices are bothering you this much maybe you could plan your weekend meals in advance. Like, don't eat at ball games or movies and bring a nice snack to share at get togethers. I'm a big fan of eating whatever and not ever feeling bad for it. I find that works wonders :P
  • Eat which one would make you happiest. I love me some twix, but sometimes I just want something healthy. You can somehow fit either in if you really wanted to.
  • The best part of meal prep is buying nice lunch boxes and tupperware! I find it motivating to pack all of them for the week. I agree with everyone above, prep meals in advance so that you can take them all week. Or if there is a fridge at work and you trust your coworkers, keep some there so you don't have to take it every…
  • Does anyone know if the HR is accurate?
  • There is no wrong or right when it comes to food unless you're deathly allergic...Live without regrets! Enjoy that food!
  • the red one. or was it the blue one?
  • Hey girl haaaaay! I'm also a student and full-time worker so I understand the struggle. I've been working on finding a balance between work and not being exhausted all the time. I would love some new friends too! Let's kick butt!
  • woohoo! Thanks!
  • bumpity bump bump. still looking for peeps
  • It looks delicious! It seems like an accomplishment to even attempt that greatness! Never feel bad about eating! One little treat won't ruin anything. If it matters that much, think of it as a lesson learned. However, feeling guilty about eating can lead to disordered thinking about food and body image so if this happens…
  • Helloooooooo beautiful! You can add me if you like :D
  • Hello! Welcome back! I don't know much about blood sugar, but I know about stress and emotional eating! :D
  • Hello from the opposite coast! B)
  • Welcome back!!!! Congrats on your progress and motivation! <3
  • I would suggest finding something that you love to do, even if it is a bit of zumba on the wii or whatever thing there is now-a-days and try to do that as much as possible. Also, get active with the family. Going to parks and hiking, bike riding, going swimming (when it's warm) and all of that would be good. For eating,…
  • Tampa Here! I used to live in Tallanasty and Ft Lauderdale :]
  • Don't Stop Me Now is my daily pick-me-up song. It has kept me from going crazy in grad school!
  • When I'm successfully getting fit and my family members start telling me what I should be doing because they're professional yo-yo dieters.
  • Hello and welcome! You sound super motivated and great job quitting smoking! Maybe cooking or exercising can be your new outlet. It became mine for my anxiety and so far so good. 100lbs is going to be amazing! There are some other posts about people wanting to lose or have lost that much if you would like to search for…
  • Ug, people are all up in the op's face just because she's had to state a billion times that she's at a deficit and has a nutritionist. Honestly, I would try switching things up with exercise or challenge myself to push as hard as I can for a few months. I'm not sure what to do about the food though. Ask that nutritionist…
  • I use it for stuffed chicken or lasagna For the chicken, get some thin chicken breasts, spinach, dill, ricotta, feta, garlic, and parsley. Cook the spinach and garlic then add it to a mix of everything else. Put some in the chicken, roll/fold them so they look stuffed and bake them. You can bread them if you want too. I…
