When I asked this question I had no idea it was such a heated topic, so in summery no I'm not gaining muscle from cardio and iits water weight that's the problem.

Sorry realise I was talking to a expert, wana be helpful instead of sarcastic? I know because I know my body and the change in shape and size of my legs if it isn't muscle then what is it?

The reason it matters is cause my goal I is to weigh under 200lbs and I'm soooo close!

Thanks for the replies and its pretty much what I thought , I have without doubt gained muscle in my legs so you can build muscle but not 2.5 in a week, let's hope it is water weight and see if I can shift it I still don't 100% understand it tbh do I just drink water to get rid of water?

what do you put into mfp exercise for the 30 day shred, how many cals is one workout?

Great Yarmouth, Norfolk....... hello everybody.

i dont weigh daily monday mornings are my weigh day and i did it sat just to see what going away did, im not giving up its just after all that to come away with a gain is annoying and ive never experianced water weight before so i dont know how to cope with it.

Update i weighed myself today and its down to a 1.5lb gain, how long does water weight take go cause again after a week of solid cardio and excersise its pretty disheartening to have a gain

thats good too know thanks, what makes water weight happen? was it the body reacting to a solid 5 days of cardio? ive never experianced water weight problems before (well in this diet anyhows)

Rewarding youself with food doesnt make you a dog! im amazed at how many people are saying that, if it helps keep u off the bad foods for a while then i really dont see the problem. Like i said if i go cold turkey on my fave foods ill break.
