I do love to SUP! Haven't been getting out as much as I like recently, just other things going on, but did do a new distance PR (14.6 miles) this past Saturday. Not only a good workout, but also REALLY good for my soul and my mind. :)

plus juicing is the ONLY way I will be able to put beets in my body.. gross, but tolerable in a juice. :)

I LOVE adding juicing into my diet. I have so much energy after drinking one. Good not adding too much fruit. After you take the fiber out, it is a lot of sugar at one if you use too much. I also just add juice to my diet. I also blend, and have normal, sensible meals (mostly.. lol) It's a good way to add more veggies than…

I use the Polar FT 7. I also bring my smartphone (in a water proof case with a float.. water proof case doesn't help much if the phone is on the bottom of a lake. :smile: ) and use the map my fitness app to map distance. I realize this thread is pretty old, but as I enjoy SUP and am getting back into MFP, thought I'd throw my .02 in. A board and paddle are a tool, like a treadmill. You get out what you put into it. Run on a treadmill or walk on one. You'll get much different results.

In Orlando, as of now the only exercise I get is paddle boarding on the weekends, sometimes for distance, other (most) just casual paddle with a group. Looking to exercise more , and get on track with some of my fitness goals.

My god.. leave this woman alone if you can't help her with her question.. People are curious why it can sometimes be intimidating or useless to ask simple questions on message boards. Great job!! I'm also going to be trying to lose the 12-20lbs soon enough.. Mind if I ask a few questions? How tall are you? Also, I am curious about your exercise routine. Any lifting involved?
