Juicing - Detox

I recentley added fresh juice (juicing) to my eating plan, not as a meal replacement. The taste is amazing and now I crave it! I read conflicting info about juicing. Some say detox juice only some say don't juice at all. I think all the veggies are healthy and add value beacuse it keeps me full and away from processed foods and sweets. Im only adding an apple to sweeten it up. Not too much sugar. Thoughts on juicing?

If you like juice, than you can drink it. But juice, to me, is useless calories. It isn't filling and its not going to detox your system as that is what your kidneys and liver are for.

Adding juicing to an eating plan is not detoxing anything.

I use a blender as a way to add more fruits and vegetables and volume to my diet. Not sure how juicing would improve taste, satiety or micronutrient profile so I don't bother. But if it is what you like, why not?
Just don't go looking for "extra health" reasons - they aren't really there over just eating vegetables and fruit.

I LOVE adding juicing into my diet. I have so much energy after drinking one. Good not adding too much fruit. After you take the fiber out, it is a lot of sugar at one if you use too much. I also just add juice to my diet. I also blend, and have normal, sensible meals (mostly.. lol) It's a good way to add more veggies than you normally would be eating. But anyway, yeah, I love the way my body is feeling since adding juicing to my diet.

This. I'd rather eat my calories than drink them.
