  • I meant 600 as an estimate of how much you burn during the p90x session. According to the p90x manual I should be consuming 1800 a day Does this mean on an off day (the x stretch or rest day) I should be eating 1200 calories since I am not working out, or should I still consume the 1800?
  • quick question as i want to start this tomorrow What size weights did you use. the max size I have at home is 4.3kgs should i get some heavier ones?

  • Some great tips, thank you! The morning snacks for me definitely has to go as I dont need it and I have this and then find myself eating lunch at 11am as well. The afternoon snack has to stay as otherwise my blood sugar drops during my workout after work
  • Greek yogurt has been amazing for me! Where i am now is definitely a lot better than where I started but I still have a bit of a way to go to kick the habit

  • Ive been lucky in that sense as due to my wheat allergy I have had to snack on fruits, nuts etc anyway. My only downfall is flapjacks lol Its become a running joke in my office that I am always eating, but I am also one of the slimmest so I cant be doing too much wrong
  • Ive found I have been a lot better since I change my breakfast from Porrige to Oat-a-bix, greek yogurt and fruit...I get a lot more for my calories and it fills me up....i still end up snacking a few hours later though but i think its more habit now than hunger

  • Thanks for the tip. I'm struggling to eat more as it is so not sure I could get 200+ so I think it will be a gradual uptake in calories. Any tips from anyone on how try hit their protein intake targets would be great as I either take too much carbs or fat as a result
  • I have Withings scales so weight myself everyday to see changes in body fat percentage etc. Getting a bit disheartend at not seeing anything budge on the scales I decided to retake my measurements after day 7 and have lost 3 inches all over.   • Day 6 completed yesterday, still finding the high knee cardio circuit a killer. Managed to upgrade all my weight sections (apart from seated squat and v raise) from 1.1kgs to 2.3kg yay!   • Yes but bear in mind I was doing Jillian Michaels Shape up and Maximize DVDs 4 times a week for 2 weeks prior to starting this so I think that was my Level 1 lol
  • Its definitely up to the individual. I moved up to level 2 after 1 day of level one as even though i found it was not easy. My heart rate was averaging 110 which I dont think is very high at all. so thought i would get a more effective workout moving to level 2
  • Day 1 of Level 2 (day 2 of 3DS) that was definitely TOUGH!! Completed all the moves without collapsing so Im pleased with myself Stupidly watching level 3 and that looks like a killer lol
