Hello to all! 👋 I'm in a fitness/weightloss challenge at work so the goal they set is 10 cups of water, 10 stairs, and 12k steps a day and aim for 10% body weight at the end of 12 weeks (26.2lbs for me). So the first week I crushed it and lost 4.8lbs. This last week I gained 2.5lbs back. I got diagnosed with an ovarian…

Thank you so much for posting your pre and post tummy tuck. I'm going into this knowing I'll need a tummy tuck and your starting build looks very similar to mine. Very inspiring!!!

So my weight in days are Thursday and I'm proud to say I lost 3.7lbs! Mine is caused by disc in my back rotating and pinching a nerve unfortunately. A visit to the chiropractor fixes it. Doesn't happen too often fortunately. It's been a couple years.

I lost 60lbs before starting nursing school. I made it through with my degree but gained it all back plus 10lbs more. Proud to say I'm getting it under control and lost 20lbs so far. This time I'm keeping it off and reaching my ultimate goal weight!

Hi Everyone! I'm just restarting my fitness journey. SW:260 CW:260 GW:140 Weekly Goals: Lose 2lbs, go on daily walks (weather permitting) with my 2 year old Monthly Goal: Get my snacking at work under control

Hello. I'm restarting my journey too! *waves* What's your goal for this month? This month I want to get my snacking under control at work, so that's what I'm working on.

Hi! I'm also 31 and I restarted my journey last Thursday. Happy to say my first week went great andnI lost 3lbs. I still have 120lbs to lose though. I made it half way before I got derailed last time. What are you doing differently this time to combat whatever derailed you last time? Last time I derailed because I started…

I would say replace those urges with something healthy. If you're craving a drink then get up and go for a walk, ride a bike, or whatever you like. That way you get some fresh air and distract yourself.

For me, I started nursing school and just slowly slid back into old habits. It was a very slow slide and I could of and should of caught it early, but instead I found myself with the nursing degree plus all the weight I lost and an additional ten pounds. What made me commit to my health again? I see the side effects of…

I have 4 Dove Promises every day...but only if I make my goal. If I went over than no chocolate for me. I look forward to having those 4 pieces of chocolate every day so it motivates me to stick to the plan. 😊

What fb47 said, but also are doing any abdominal exercises?
-
I don't think that weighing in with my husband weekly would really motivate me that much, but it works for you go for it! I already tell him what I weighed in at every week and he tells me when he happens to weigh...but me and my husband are REALLY competitive. It would become a competition quickly and we have completely…

I substitute veggies slices for crackers and chips, especially when it comes to dips. I used to make a tuna spread for lunch and eat it with Ritz. Now I eat it with cucumber slices instead. 😊

Most people get more than the recommended amount of salt in their diet, but it's not a big deal because the kidneys are extremely efficient at getting rid of extra sodium. Unless you have hypertension or another medical condition I wouldn't worry about limiting your sodium intake. :)

I'd like to join too. I lost 60lbs a couple years ago, but then I joined nursing school and spiraled out of control and regained it all. Now I'm a month away from graduating and I'm ready to commit myself to my health again. The last two days I got over 10000 steps on my Fitbit and I stayed under my calorie goal. Today…

You look amazing! If you don't mind me asking, how long are you gym sessions and what kind of regimen do you use? Lifting? Cardio?

I'm also curious about the egg yolk thing.... It sounds like your aunt isn't trying to compare herself to you but is interested in losing weight too. She sees you are losing weight and wants to know how.

I think you have every right to confront him on eating the lunch you set aside for him for the next day. I would be irritated at him. Maybe you could try portioning out a late night snack for him like string cheese or anything with some protein. Also, if it were me...I would leave positive sticky notes for him. I have to…

I know how you feel. My calves are massive. My husband is jealous. Although I would never purposefully try to lose muscle. Just like there is no way to target lose fat there is no way to target lose muscle. Best to pump up the rest of them. ;)

I just wanted to say I don't think you're crazy and I doubt anybody else here does. It doesn't matter how little or how big an amount of weight you want to lose. We're all here to support each other and we all deserve to feel comfortable in our body. I'm not experienced enough to mentor anyone but I wish you good luck in…

I use the cutest app called plant nanny! It sends you reminders to drink and as you enter your water you grow these cute little cartoon plants.

Thanks for your reply! From what I have researched nerve pain is common for a few years (up to five I read!)...so aslong as it fades within a day and he can walk upright I don't think I'll worry about it.

Are you REALLY going to hassle me for asking a question when I already stated it's tough to get this man in to see a doctor? Geez, I was asking if people had experienced it and kept running or if they had any exercises that helped them. I'm not asking for a diagnoses. If it hurt for longer than 24 hours after a run or if…

Some muscle? You look absolutely ripped! Congrats! You look great!

Music....when the right song comes on I feel like I can move mountains. Without knowing what kind of music you listen to, try Warriors by Imagine Dragons.
