Well, there are a lot more veggies to be eaten raw besides carrots and lettuce.. so, there's lots of things to chose from to liven things. I want to comment on the fussy eating bit but it's late and I've had a long day.. so.. eh.

Goodluck ladies! (I'm a Sarah too!) You're brave, I had my first last June and I was back down to pre-baby weight within a couple weeks of having her but decided to go wild after having gestational diabetes so.. can't blame it on the baby!

I don't know what everyone SHOULD do but I think it is wise to use your TDEE/BMR calculations to figure out a good number for yourself. I can't remember what MFP started me out at, I think it was in the 12's or 13's, anyway, according to my TDEE/BMR calculations it was much too low, for me.. so I used my new calculation…

I've never been naive about the sugar or calorie content of soda but it's always been my one & only vice. Not any longer, being accountable with my calories means I'm not wasting them. As a side note, it's rare I eat something before checking it's nutritional content, I'm not trying to waste an entire lunch on a drink or…

I am finding everything feels/looks a little better when you're a little lighter!

It's more about being accountable, if you're seeing the amount/what you're eating in black and white, you tend to make more account for things than just mindlessly eating. It takes extra time out of my day but then again so does exercise, eating thoughtfully, making meals instead of the microwave.. it's just one of those…

5'2 with an initial goal of 150 and secondary goal of 130, currently 182 down from 196

I weigh 3 times a week, normally Wed, Fri and Monday. I normally log losses on Wed/Fri and then Monday is to see where I stand from the weekend, I cheat in moderation on the weekend so I like to know how to I am going into the next week.

I am 5'2" and my initial GW is 150, I felt great and was very comfortable at that weight but I wouldn't mind getting down to 130, will see how I feel once I hit the first goal :]

Very well said!

I don't really get night time cravings or feel snacky but I do during the day and I find if I just get involved in something, I forget about it.. signaling that it's probably more boredom and maybe not so much hunger.

It's crazy how changing or modifying things quickly start producing change. Congrats on a great start :]

Stunning! You should be so proud, you look fabulous!

I went through the same thing, I was told I was fat at 130, so I am sure he would think I am a whale now.. oddly enough, my life is so much fuller (no pun) and happier than it ever was with him but I do want to get back into a comfortable, better looking weight, for me. So the best thing to do, imo - is let it go. I know…

This further represents why attitude plays such a huge part in all of the aspects of obtaining your goal, any goal..

2015 is a ways away so you have time to work with, if you want to get back down and stay back down, I'd make some permanent changes you can stick to/live with so you don't have to work so hard to maintain. Think big picture.. to the best of your ability :]

It's much easier to stay the path if you're committed, which would imply you want to achieve your goal, whatever it may be..

Gluten free crust and healthy toppings.. Food shall not be a dirty word.

Marty's advice is great, just monitor your body in terms of how you feel, if you feel like you've eaten enough or need more sustenance. Your weight/inches lost or gained will also be an indicator. I really don't factor in daily activity at all. If I worked a really hard, really active job it would be different but I live…

I love the way in which we are moving technologically in this regard.. I also love NOT paying a $100.00 a month cable bill.

Getting rid of quick fix, unhealthy foods is a good way to help, it's kind of a tricky way to go about it but a lot of times if you're in a snacky mood, quick options are what you go with, if those aren't available to us and only food that has to be prepared is, we don't have much of a choice but to pass on the snacking.…

I really despise the whole gym experience, beyond the normal anxieties, it's just a pain in my *kitten* plus now that I have a little one, extra no thanks.. Can you not work out at home? I mean if you really don't like it or get really anxious, why not try alternatives? No point in torturing yourself when there is lots of…

You look fantastic fellow Tennessean!

I have a desk job as well plus I work from home - I am definitely not chained to the desk and get up pretty frequently to pop downstairs and check on the husband & kiddo, plus trip to my printers, etc. Thankfully I hate snacking and working or I might have a real struggle here.
