yes i am getting similar things, at the moment it's not transferring exercise calories over to MFP (although it's syncing) - I have tried disconnecting and revoking access to reconnect again and all the other troubleshooting advice but no joy. I have been using MFP and Fitbit together for over a year and in the last week…

Hi i'm in Newcastle, pls add me if you're up for some challenges www.fitbit.com/user/3255MT 33yr old Female

www.fitbit.com/user/3255MT Feel free to Add me, i love doing challenges - it's good to win but not all about the winning, it really motivates me to move more. I hope to be a source of motivation to others and gain some more motivation in return, challenges are also lots of fun!

Haha, I was also wondering about the button, whether there was a feature on mine I was completely unaware of, I also have the flex and pretty sure it doesn't have a button. Ok, so from what you said, you would still go on mfp and log exercise, for example, 30 mins on treadmill walking 3.5mph, then when syncing your fitbit…

Thanks for your reply, I was a little confused when you said about pressing a button before exercise and after, I have a flex and wasn't aware of a button to press, so i'm assuming you use a different fitbit model? By exercise, would you say log anything other than running, most of my exercise is walking, but I don't…

I have only got back on mfp in the last month after losing a bit last year then abandoning mfp only to pile on the pounds again (pre-fitbit days), last week was my first proper week back and I lost a bit, but this week I haven't lost any, so don't think it will be down to weight loss slowing down, I still have quite a way…

had mine a few months but not got any friends on here, lol. Would love some friends to compete with to encourage me to do more!! Add me.... https://www.fitbit.com/user/3255MT

I have also tried and was doing well this time last year and then failed, I fell out of logging and exercising for about 6 months and piled on the weight I lost and more. I'm just starting again this week and it has been successful so far (hope I continue to be successful). On reflection, I was doing well before but found…

Great Job, it always motivates me a bit more to hear other success stories. I only hope to be as successful as you. BTW, you look stunning in the picture in the turquoise, lovely outfit and looks great on you

Hi, I'm in the UK, 31 yr old female and mum of 3, I know what you mean about making time to exercise but I have finally introduced a workout even if only for 20 mins on the treadmill now that my youngest is now at nursery. I know it can be hard with young children so if you can't get that time for you to workout then maybe…

I am always happy to gain MFP friends, I am about half way through my journey, recently fell off track and just getting back to it this week. I would love to help motivate others that are just starting on their journey and receive encouragement on mine. I also find it helps to read others stories that have had success and…

Well done, great job, it's interesting to hear your story aswell about getting off track but turning it around before you gained all the weight back you lost the first time. ( I have just got back to logging etc after going off track and gaining a bit again) Your story has been just what i need to keep myself going and…

Great work, well done for coming this far on your journey..... just what I needed to assist me with getting back on track! Well done!
-
Well done, you look really great and after a few weeks of slipping, success stories like yours are just what I need to hear! Congratulations!
-
Fabulous results, well done. It is inspiring also to hear that you have good and bad days and that despite the bad you have still seen amazing progress! I often have a bad day- which can then lead into 2or 3 bad days before I get myself back on track so it really helps me reading success stories like yours especially as…

Great inspiration for many of us. I have 30ds and have only done level 1 about twice, reluctant to get it out and put it on but after reading you post and seeing the very noticeable change in your body after just 30 days I am gonna have to do it consistently if I want those results....starting tomorrow!

I would probably only deduct it again if I was desperate to stay within the green. If I was under anyway then would leave it.
-
Amazing story, I feel like you only just realised yourself on writing your story how far you've actually come and how fantastic you look?!? You look amazing - check out that waist- so slim! Sorry to hear about the harder times you had on your journey and the losses, you are so strong to come through that and keep going.…

This is pretty much the same reasoning for me. said last Tuesday evening I was gonna have a cheat day Wednesday and then back to it on thursday - although I tried to get back on track on thursday, here I am on Saturday still craving the sweet things and giving in to the cravings - falling back into old habits. I find it so…

Great, i think i'll do the veggie and fruit thing tomorrow and see how i get on, may nly try ,ynot last all day with my will power but will certainly try my hardest, if i save lots of calories i might allow myself something at the end of the day
-
When you put it like that it's true, i have to pull it back and get on track, i'll have to draw a line under it and call today a treat day and then try and come in under my calorie count for the rest of the week. Thanks
-
Wow, and that's without even including your meals? Well your post has made me feel a bit better about the fact i'm contemplating eating that donut anyway, despite being over on calories. I dread to think what my calorie count used to be before i was even consciously eating - i literally used to have what i wanted whenever…
-
I suppose, i just see the weight target getting heavier and heavier ... in 5 weeks you'll be 188lbs...going up 190lbs, 192lbs. I need to pull it back by having a fasting day or something.... perhaps I should try having a fruit and veg day with no meat and minimal dairy - apart from the odd cup of tea. It may help me to…
-
Well done, it's great that you shared your story, especially if you have never posted before. Great result!
-
Amazing job!!!!!!!! Extremely inspiring and i'm sure you may have had hard times along your journey but you stuck with it and have achieved fantastic results. Your family must be so proud of you. What a lovely pic with your grandchild (assuming it's your grandchild) May your new, healthy, slimmer lifestyle bring you much…

I'm definately up for trying to motivate eachother, you've had great progress and have lots of similarities to me, it's good to know you were at 200lbs and have succeeded in losing the weight, you look great in your pics!!

Thanks, i think i am gonna up my carbs to between 80-150g per day. Going by the amount of rubbish foods i was eating prior to my diet I was probably consuming alot more carbs than that so i suppose it is still a reduction for me. I am alot more aware now of the carb count in foods and will try and make better choices. what…

thanks, that gives me a bit more leeway on carbs, will try that

i appreciate you all taking the time to reply and try to help me, thank you:smile:

I was wondering whether switching week by week could be a solution - as in low carb 1 week, then low calories the next, alternating. (although i have been keeping an eye on the calories even when on low carb anyway) This might help me to have the carbs like porridge, potatoes and bread to look forward to for the weeks when…
