  • You have to remember, many many older countries still have a very high respect for the way you present yourself in church. I'm not a religious person, but if I were visiting a cathedral, that had been around for centuries, I'd be respectful of that. I'm not saying dress up like you're going to prom or something, but at…
  • My brother and sister-in-law went to Italy two years ago. They dressed like they normally would here at home. The only thing that they made sure to do was dress up on the days they knew they'd be going to a cathedral. They also dressed up when they went to the Vatican. Other than that, I'd say just dress like you normally…
  • Oroweat Jewish Rye Bread is only 70 calories a slice, and decently sized. I usually top my bread with sugar free jam (I love peach and strawberry). Only about 80 calories in all. :-)
  • I had a Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast on an Earthgrain Sandwich Thin. Also spread on a French Onion Laughing Cow wedge. Was super fantastic. For dessert I had an Archer Farms Organic Fruit Strip (Strawberry). :-)
  • Weight/Strength training is also an option under the cardio section. Just search for it, and it'll put in an overall calorie number. I've never been too sure how accurate it is, though. :-)
  • Sargento Reduced Fat Pepper Jack. :-) Kraft also makes a fat free American cheese that comes in slices. Borden makes fat free American, Swiss, Cheddar, and White American. These should all be widely available.

  • Dried fruits contain, at times, a lot of added sugars. Make sure to always check the labels if you're following your sugar intake closely. :-) I really only try to eat foods with no added sugars. It's difficult to do at times for your favorite things (for me, it's incredibly hard finding bbq sauce with none added), but…
  • Are they added sugars or natural? From my understanding, there are no ADA or AHA recommendations for natural sugars, just added ones.
  • Thanks for the advice/recommendations. :-)

  • Thank you! I always check every part of the nutrition label when I buy any food, but I do find some with added sugars. Yuck! Thanks for the recommendation. :-)

  • Nature's Pride 100% Whole Wheat (or any Nature's Pride bread). I'm pretty sure it's widely available.
  • 1) Salad with Romaine Lettuce, mushrooms, cucumbers, black olives, lite ranch (a tbsp) - I usually like my salads with no dressings. I think the veggies are flavorful enough (I may be in the minority. hehe). Made an exception today though. 2) 1/2 cup cantelope 3) 4oz. cubed chicken
  • I just bought a pair of Nike Compete 2's a couple of weeks ago. Before I bought them, I had an old pair of adidas, and my feet definitely felt the hurt. This pair was on sale at Kohl's for $44.95. I think they're back to regular price now ($60). I'm not sure if you have a Kohl's near you, but they usually have really great…
