  • Interesting article. Hormones participate too.
  • Usually I do. I'll eat between 900-1050 call with 5 - days of vigorous cardio and some strength training. A cheat meal will bring me up to 1500-1700 call for the day. The next day throughout the week it's low call and exercise. Thinking I should stop it altogether. It's tough when it's a wedding or hubby and I are out to…
  • I try not to but every weekend is a major family event. It's tough not to give myself that one meal. I'm trying to stop. Any ideas?
  • Dbmata No I can't name one of such. I was just going by success stories I've heard from others. I know dr oz stands by garcinia.
  • With no shame, I admit that I pooped 5 today. Depends on what you eat and how your body processes food. As long as the poop is healthy (check Bristol stool chart) then the excess poop is good. Your body is ridding itself of toxins and fat. Poop is one way your body sheds fat. It's constipation thay can be a problem and…
  • You have to be careful with weight loss supplements. They can interact with medications and health conditions. Everyone should read labels and check with a medical professional first. That being said, some do help with weight loss along with diet and exercise. However, everyone is different and it's tough to say what will…

My doc said it takes 6 weeks for metabolism to return to normal. So my journey required more work than the average dieter. I'm also…
  • In regards to some questions: I did taper off under a doctors care. I was on 10 mg, so it doesn't take long as higher doses. I don't need meds for mental health for 2 reasons: 1. I recently had a psychiatric evaluation , we're a clinical psychiatrist stated I do not require medication , but intimated cognitive behavior…

  • trust me, I do EVERYTHING. Lots of water, not starving anything in terms of nutrients/calories/etc. It's been over a month and I think I actually got bigger. My body looks thicker than it ever did. Very depressing to go into a store and try on the biggest sized pants and they are tight on my thys. That's with TONS of daily…
  • I do BOTH cardio and strength training. I mix up the routines too so it's more effective and not as boring. I also walk about 4-5 miles per day with my job in addition to the 4 day a week exercise routine.
  • got it! thanks!

  • Agreed. It's a special occassion and you deserve to reinforce yourself with some foods you enjoy without guilt, calorie/fat counting, etc. I lost weight several times in the past by allowing myself one day a week to just eat WHATEVER I want. The other days I would eat very healthy and exercise. Also, went it's consistant…
