No doubt, limiting to 20 carbs feels near impossible. I zigzag with my carbs. Most of the week I do Induction phase, but on weekends or occasional events, I'll go up to 50-80. It is possible to do 20, but not without a lot of planning. Here's my typical menu for the day: Breakfast: 2 eggs 3 canadian bacon Morning Snack:…

I used to work at Victoria's Secret when I was in college and learned so much about bras...lol. VS Very Sexy pushup is also my favorite...but that doesn't help you at all b/c they don't come in your size. We always sent people to Lane Bryant if they were above our sizes. They've always had the best bras for women who are…

Thanks! I am going to keep the exercise up, but I just don't want to do anything stupid and have lasting damage. It hasn't bothered me in a long time, so I really think it's just gotten pretty weak with my lack of exercise over the past year. I want to restrengthen it. Guess it's time to go dig out that knee brace. Thanks…

I hit the Fit for 65 minutes last night. Free Step, Yoga, And Super Hula Hoop. :-)

Gonna start my first shred in a few minutes...AHHH!

Where did you find them online? I'm ordering the DVD tonight, but would be nice to keep up with you all while I wait for it to arrive.

Amazing!!! I thought we'd never get a fully intelligent and open-minded post on this subject. I love that you note that the human body is resilient and that anything we put in will be used as fuel. Obviously...be smart people. Don't create a crayon and dirt diet and expect support, but as long as we are trying to find a…

Army Wife here! My entire motivation for this journey is to see my husband's face when he gets home from deployment. I want him to be proud to be with me! :-)

I'm not going that much faster. I'm trying to lose about 10 every 2 months. (Just over 1 pound a week) In the beginning I'm going a little faster just b/c of all the lifestyle changes, but I know it will slow down. This week I lost 2.25 instead of the 4 that I'd lost both of the previous two weeks. I wish it was that easy…

You started at the exact same weight as I did. And your after picture is the same weight I want to be when my husband comes home from deployment. I'm getting really inspired and encouraged to see the huge difference. I really can't wait to see his jaw drop!!! Thanks for sharing! :-)

it's going in the right direction. Better down, than up.

Haha! That's so funny! We're only 1 pound away from each other. And it looks like we're reaching for the same goal. Now you can feel free to ride my tail when I can't keep up! ;-)

I don't know if it makes it go faster. I wanted to lose 53 pounds. It just seemed so overwhelming to think about 53 pounds!!! And I knew that I wanted to look significantly different when my husband comes home in August. So I sat down and wrote out mini-goals along the way to help me achieve my timeline. They're all…

Ok, so I was feeling funky last night after I had weighed myself two nights ago with no loss. I got on the balance board after a full day of eating and it weighed me 2 pounds less. That was just enough to make me weigh again this morning, which is my official weigh-in anyway and the Wii was right. I lost 2.2 pounds. :-) I…

I think most people retain water the week before during PMS. The week of is usually loss I thought, but like everyone is saying, all of our bodies are unique.

I'm feeling the same way today. :-/

I was really frustrated today after not seeing the scale move yesterday, so I worked my butt off last night for the first time in a couple weeks. So what made me smile today? Being proud of myself. And reminding myself that it's beautiful outside and I'm going to be able to fit in all my summer clothes from years past…

It weighed me several pounds less after dinner than the scale at the gym had weighed me before dinner.

I'm in! I wanted to start this month, but it was still kinda cold out. Next month will be perfect. I might start sooner.

So I pulled out my balance board and hooked my Wii Fit back up for the first time in nearly a year last night. Got 30 minutes in and actually broke a sweat which surprised me. This is a good start to get me moving again. :-)

I know the month is halfway over, but I'd like to jump in if I could. :-) My mini goal: Lose 7 pounds My reward: Well I'm going to NYC at the end of this month, so I'll treat that as my reward How I will reach it: Readjusting my mind to accept high fat, moderate protein, low carb as a healthy lifestyle. I'm struggling even…

You could be retaining water...don't stress it. We vary in weight by 4 pounds when retaining. It'll go back down.
