You definitely have to be a label reader when you shop there. High fructose corn syrup is in so many of the things they carry as well as other harmful preservatives (BHT). But if you take you time and read what you're buying, you can definitely find some great deals. The ones here (Illinois) have started carrying some…

Amazing work!! You deserve everything you're making happen for yourself! :flowerforyou:

Don't do the not show up thing, be an adult. I would either say like the other poster said and tell them the job isn't for you since you are still training. Or you can just tell the truth and say your old job wants you back and it's a better fit for you.

Amazing results!! And you are so right, everyone has the time if you just look for it. Keep it up, you are doing great!! :flowerforyou:

That's awesome!! The choices you made when a snag came into your plan show that you have changed for good and those 200lbs you have lost are goon forever! You could have simply left the gym, like i'm sure many would have, when your class was cancelled, could have even grabbed candy on the way out! But you didn't, you made…

yup, it sucks! it's like pulling teeth to lose weight. i just found out i was hypothyroid in april. i had been working out 5-6 days a week and staying within my calories and didn't lose a pound for 2 months, not to mention i was always sooo tired. it helps sometimes to just think about my overall better health when the…

i've had a fitbit since May, love it but for certain workouts like circuit training and yoga/pilates where there isn't a lot of movement, it isn't as accurate. I just got an HRM and used it and the fitbit for my jillian michaels ripped in 30 dvd workout last night. the HRM said i burned double what the fitbit did! i think…

do you wear a heart rate monitor to determine what you've burned? sometimes this site can over estimate your burn and since you're eating back your exercise calories that can be a big problem.

feel free to add me! i would start just trying to be active with your kids more instead of trying to do "official" workouts if it hurts. take walks, ride bikes, whatever you can all do together. get them involved in helping you make quick, healthier dinners. that'll speed up the time it takes and make it easier to do.…

those are all great victories!! i really love that your daughter is following your lead. just goes to show how important being a parent is. they WILL model our behavior so it's great you're setting an awesome example

my sister in law did it for months and loved it, especially the workouts. she said she only paid $4 a week though.

i'm in too!! i don't have too much to get there (about5) but i was diagnosed hypothyroid a few months ago and that along with back troubles keeps me from losing weight easily. every pound is hard earned! haven't lost in weeks. maybe this will keep me motivated :) i definitely want to look better in all the christmas…

a aww i know how you feel, but don't let it discourage you! keep on track and when you look back you'll see that it all adds up, every little pound :)

like a lot of other ppl said, smaller than i thought. i really like the weekly stats email you get. it tells you your total calories burned, miles walked, stairs climbed etc and whether that was in increase or decrease from last week. i just find it motivating overall, like when i get close to my daily goal up 10 flights…

wow you shrunk!! awesome results!!

Do you do any weightlifting? Women lose muscle mass as they age and muscle burns more calories daily just to maintain itself than fat. That would help boost your BMR so you could eat more and not gain. I'd be miserable eating only 800 calories a day and i imagine you are too. Good luck!

Promax Double Chocolate! and you can't go wrong with the many flavors of Luna bars :)

you look like a completely different person!!! congrats to you!! :flowerforyou:

I've been on it since April and I have had no stomach problems at all. You have to take it 1st thing in the morning on an empty stomach, then wait at least 30 mins to an hour to eat, otherwise you mess with the meds absorption in your system. I have lost about 15 pounds since i've been on it, but it's still a struggle just…

the fitbit counts all the calories you burn during the day- your BMR (what your body burns every day just to keep functioning) and any you burn for activities. my food log also says i have over 1000 calories left for today, which i will not be eating! i still try to stick close to the 1500 calories a day i'm supposed to be…

I would definitely keep your extra cardio. I did her Ripped in 30 workouts (which is similar to 30 Day shred) for a while. I felt I got the strength part of my workout in, but still needed more for cardio. And since both DVD's are under 30 minutes, there is definitely still time for more cardio in my opinion  Good…
