How is the Fitbit working for you? I use a pedometer and I love it.

When counting calories I keep in mind that not all calories are the same. It is important to know what foods fuel my metabolism, so although I am counting calories I need to be sure I am counting the 'right' calories.

I stand 5'2" and 190 lbs. I lost 50 lbs last year and I am on the road to shedding anther 30.

I do not have my calorie goal with exercise in mind. My calorie goal is 1200 and if I burn 400 on the treadmill it shows I can consume 1600 calories, but I am staying at the 1200 or less.

Sweetcheeks, keep up the walking. I too have been walking 10000 steps a day and feel better when I move that much.

I do not eat back my exercise calories and tend to stay under 1200 calories per day. I measure/weigh everything and find that it is very helpful to stay on track. When I do not measure/weigh things the pounds seem to creep back on.

You CAN do it!! You have already met 1/2 your goal and you still have 2 more weeks. You CAN do it!! You CAN do it!! My goal is -30 by 08 July. I just need to get the voice in my head to quit saying "you can start tomorrow" and realize this IS tomorrow.

We can ALL do this. It is all about making decisions, right or ... not so right. Take it one day at a time, one meal at a time, one bite at a time. Don't let the past (even yesterday) rob you of success today. Every time we do not eat something we shouldn't, every time we exercise, every time we make the 'right' decision…

I did lose the last 3 pounds and had a great time at my nephews wedding. Now, to get rid of the last 30 pounds!
