I guesstimate there's about a 10-ish pound difference about eight weeks ago? I've been hovering in the lower 280s for awhile, but exactly how long I do not know. Ideally, I'd want to lose two pounds per week, but my body's been far from consistent. I know at the beginning of October I hit 280, then spent a period of time…

I am not, I'm a guy.

Both my parents refused to get them. I'm 34 right now, and given how long my bowel issues have gone on (at least ten years), I highly doubt cancer is the cause given the slow growth. So far, my doc hasn't recommended one. That may change, though. And yeah, fiber is a big struggle. Even with my healthier diet, I'm still…

I didn't have coffee, just water and lemonade.

So the fact that these particles shot through me that fast isn't a sign of alarm?
-
I don't think so. But I know my scale is trying to tell me I lost over a pound in just two hours. XD

That's what I was hoping...crossing my fingers it steadies out once I hit normalcy.

The sad truth is, on my old diet-when I was eating basically nothing but frozen and processed food...I might have been lucky to get 5g of fiber each day? Now I'm doing 10-14. Except one day when I did 28. THAT was a mistake.

Kind of funny you mentioned that. Initially I was trying to cram as much fiber in as I could. Starting around Sunday I began to moderate it more.
-
Before-essentially no fruit, and the occasional veggie. Starting about three weeks ago-fruit of some form everyday, and usually some veggies every few days. I should also add I'm working on a new sleep schedule, and have almost always had mind abdominal cramping.

That's kind of the weird part. Even though it's unpredictable just how many times I have to go, I can usually predict when it'll start and when it'll end.
-
Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely try to be more gradual, instead of trying to push myself to get as much fiber as I can within a day.
-
I was thinking of trying that. I still have a crap ton of frozen stuff in the freezer that I need to gradually get rid of.

Well....there is that. I was finding out on most normal days on my old diet I was getting maybe 6 or 7 grams. I bumped it up to about 14 on some good days...then on Friday I ate 28g according to the diet tracker. Apparently that was a fairly stupid move.

That's what I am hoping. But, when she showed me the symptoms, it was, like '...I have almost all of those.'. Like I said, going to try a few days with more healthy food and see what happens. In particular-no beef. I've had that almost every day for the last five days.

Ok, so...having my sister-in-law, who is a medical book editor, suggest colon cancer certainly wasn't a help. I would like to think I am too young...but, it got me thinking. Now, I am dreading that appointment.

Actually, I've been eating fast food more regularly than I should lately...I didn't used to, though. Saturday was the fast food, Sunday I met family at a eating place and thought I was doing good by ordering grilled shrimp...Monday was some pre-cooked, frozen chicken, and then today I also had some fast food while I was…

That does help put me a bit more at ease, thanks! I am going to see the doctor Monday, anyway, to get the results of my annual blood work, so I may as well bring up the bloating/burning stomach issue.

So, the losing four pounds overnight isn't cause for alarm?

That makes sense. The soda reduction has been gradual. I used to drink 2 liters a day, then today had my final can...kind of figures the urinary stuff began when I started getting down to one serving a day.
