  • That's why I asked on here. I don't want to ask since I don't want to be prompted to buy anything, which sounds mean, but I got all of these free. So I'd like to use them if I can! Thank you!
  • This. thread. rocks. Thank you to the people who actually posted answers that gave information!
  • Thank you! I was most concerned about the 500 calories/day intake. I also think the drops are ineffective, but I wanted something to show the issue about the calories and the long-term damage that can cause.

  • I like the idea of prepping things, and not having them all be the same meal every day. That was what I hated most. But I might make the same thing, and then just mix up the recipes and sauces. And for breakfast I've been making overnight oats. They are really good!
  • Thank you guys so much! You've made it seem doable. It actually seems exciting now, instead of strenuous. Sadly I didn't even think about baking the chicken, lol. My husband is actually a way better cook than I.
  • This is going to show clearly how good of a cook I am, but do you just put the chicken in the crock pot? do you add water or anything else? I've always just used a skilled or the grill to make chicken, so I want to make sure I don't mess it up lol. But that's a great idea. That was my issue with my original meal plan, was…
  • When I was a lifeguard, one of our main stands was at the top of a water slide so we could tell the kids when to go down to avoid them running into one another. While I was up there, a little girl looked at my feet and said, "your toe nail polish is soooo pretty. But your toes are ugly" and then she went down the slide.…
  • Also bumping for ideas :)
  • Oh my, I ADORE chips. I crave salt over anything sweet, all times of the week. What I've used to kind of kick that habit is eating lightly salted pistachios. I've grown now to craving those instead. Good luck!
  • I really like T25. I also have Insanity, and I love it, but I like T25 because you still get a good burn but it feels easy. I woke up sore the next day and I like to think I'm in decent shape! And like the last poster, you keep moving and it really flies by. I like using it when I don't have time to go to the gym but I…
  • Ooh! Me please! I give/need support, and like having motivated friends!
  • Tyler! Anyone feel free to add me!

  • Thanks everyone, sorry for the late reply. I have been out of town for a week and can't access the message boards with the app. I was afraid of that, but I don't mind using it for my workout. I was just curious about general calories burned during the day, but I don't want to wear a chest strap all day long! Mine did come…
  • I ended up going with the Polar FT7! It was only a few dollars difference than the FT4, so I just went with that one. I do have a question though!! Do I always have to wear the Polar chest strap to make the watch work?? Just curious.
  • Awesome! I'll look into all of those. I really appreciate the help! I want to make absolute sure that I'm accurate in my calories burned.
  • Tyler, Texas!! I'd like as many Texas friends as I can get!
  • I have to admit that I probably haven't been eating many calories. I do measure and weigh, and I work out for about an hour to hour and a half five days a week. With my exercise, my total calories were around 900-925. But I eat three solid meals a day, sometimes a small snack in between, and I never felt hungry or starved.…
  • Really awesome story! You've done amazing, and you're looking great!
  • This is really awesome :) congrats on your hard work!!
  • ^^Me too please! I've always been curious about intermittant fasting. I have limited knowledge, but think you're probably just adjusting to a difference in routine, and I always lose weight faster when I try something new and different, and then my body slows down over time. Plus, if you've been eating right and…
  • I always had this problem too, because it was tradition in my family to get orange chiffon cakes for your birthday, and for the past few years I've wanted a more healthy alternative. While it's totally acceptable to have a "cheat day" here and there, sometimes you just don't want to! So now, for years, I just order an…
  • Also, I'm going to be there a night and a full day. So that's why I was thinking of my own sides. I got that question a lot!
  • I might try that mozzarella, tomato and basil salad! That sounds delicious. Maybe I'll just bring a big salad for everyone and my own avocado. No one will want avocado. Crazy!
  • Wow! I got way more responses than I was expecting, that's for sure. I appreciate the input. I don't know how much background would help, a lot of people seem to not read the entire post. But anyway, it's my family, and I have a good relationship with them. Great, actually. And it isn't going to be a huge ordeal, probably…
  • I very much struggle with this. I love my husband dearly, but he eats terribly. He is tall and naturally thin (even muscular which is so unfair since he never works out, lol) and tends to lose weight easily because of his job. I will try eating cleaner or healthier, and he will usually entertain the idea for a day or two,…
  • I'm also a 23 Y/O at about the same weight (192 this morning)! I work a lot too, and have a hard time with finding motivation to cook or prep, and fast easy stuff tends to be my downfall. I actually work at a hospital rehabilitation/fitness center, and surprisingly horrible food is everywhere. I'm lucky in the fitness…
  • Not intended as an insult, just a reason why it took me a few hours to respond.
  • It is easy, yes. But I can use MFP, it's cool. You don't have to answer anymore! Thanks for the help!
