Thanks for all replies I appreciate the honestly. I'm not really in a position to postpone the surgery to be honest. I've paid in full and I can't reschedule. I know that's a bad reason in the grand scheme of things but it's a lot of money I can't afford to lose. I'm feeling a lot more positive today and haven't broken the…

Thanks for adding me, I did mention on my original response that I didn't know how to do it!

I typed up a huge response a few mins ago and it disappeared! It took me ages too. So I'm not going to go into all that detail I appreciate the support but I'm having major doubts about the surgery now. What's the point in me paying all that money if it's not even going to help me and will just be like dieting? I've dieted…

Thanks. I like the idea of the sleeve but I have a huge sweet tooth switch makes me thing a bypass could work better:/

That's really good to know, thank you. I've read a lot of about this and it slightly worries me that they are so widely available in the UK if that's the case. They are only in the running because of price and the fact I personally know people who have had good experiences.

Thanks for this. The sleeve is the first in my head at the moment, only thing making me hesitant is the price and that I've read it's got the highest chance of allowing your stomach to just stretch back to it's original size. So glad it worked for you though.

Yeah the 1370 was 2 pounds a week. I know I need to be more realistic with 1 pound instead. Definitely

Sorry - I weigh 242 pounds. 17 stone 4 pounds. I worked the pounds out wrong earlier when I did it and can't edit my original post on mobile. My goal has always been 10 stone. It's a nice middling bmi for me, so yeah 7 stone 4 to lose.

1800 calories - and I'd still lose?! Surely that would be very slow though? I'm eating 1370 which is the MFP number I got. I lost a lot of weight in the first two weeks but the last two weeks has been a pound each week. Slower than I'd like so I can't see how I'd lose weight by eating more.

Sorry, so basic. I log everything. I eat 1370 a day (that's what MFP came up with when I put everything in). I weigh 214 pounds and am 5 foot 5. Female. I'm 25. I don't really exercise. I just walk a lot. I'm too hungry, I have hardly any energy to be doing stuff. I can deal with cravings, it's the actual hunger that is…

I feel like I'm eating enough now. I haven't felt particularly restricted or hungry. I've only had two incidences of breaking my limit in the four weeks I've been doing it, and one was yesterday. It was emotional eating rather than me being hungry. Thank you, the last part of your post helped me a lot. It adds one day to…

I'm eating to 1400 (ignore my profile, it's out of date mostly). I know that adding a 1000 to that still means I won't gain weight (according to Google I need 2300 to maintain). I've lost 1 stone 2 pounds in three weeks so far and I guess I'm deluding myself into thinking it can continue at this rate, but I know that…

I was thinking about adding on C25K as well because I started that once - got really close to the end but ended up getting bored. I don't think the schedule is as important as everyone makes it out to be with 30DS. You can do it how you want to do it. I certainly don't do it every day, normally about four or five days a…

Thanks for the advice. Glad to know I'm not the only one! OPile: Sadly I don't think it's going to get better for me. They have been playing up since day 1. Some days are better than others but yesterday's level 2 seems to have really done me in! But hopefully it will get easier as level 2 goes by. piercedee: I am doing…

I'll be following this! I've just started level 2 today. It was hard but I've done it now and hopefully it will get easier! I haven't lost any weight from level 1 but I have definitely noticed more tone. I forgot to take inches though, silly me, so I don't know if I lost any inches. Good luck :)
