that is such a shame! 147 is a really sensible goal, as you said its the upper end of healthy and its only a soft goal. If you really did end up looking sick when you get there you can make an adjustment but I'm 5'6 and at 147 I look fine, if anything i always feel like I'm still a bit cuddly at 147. my flatmate binned all of her cigarettes and refused to leave the house for three days, once she got past the initial cravings she was totally fine- she's 6months smoke free now :)

I'm 5'6, at 172lbs I was a 38F, at 155 (current) I'm a 34F and at 140 (which i've slipped up from in the last year) I was a 34E

I've flown longhaul with IcelandAir at a size 16 and it was totally fine, lots of space, and actually not a bad amount of leg room. You will be fine :)
