All the top trainers have dvd's out of their exercise programs. If you aren't sure which one you like...go on youtube & watch them. There are numerous exercise programs for the home user. Google "exercise programs". You will be amazed at what you'll find. Good luck, and happy exercising!

Maybe adding them all into a smoothie or juice them in a juicer. I could eat everything on the list somehow every day. I guess we all need to be creative if we "should" eat these everyday!

We cook it a couple times a month in our house. It is a little sweeter than pasta, but with sauce & low fat cheeses it can be a very good alternative to the carbs in pasta.

I drink, at least, 2 - 52 ounce "Bubba Jugs" of water a day along with my 4 -5 cups of coffee! I think it helps keep the system in good working order. I agree, if a person is only drinking water & not eating, then there could be a problem.

My worry about fresh anything, in an illness that involves digestive tract, is that it may make it worse. But, you are right, any food is better than none.

Chicken soup (comfort food) isn't a bad food. Just watch the sodium. Drink plenty of fluids, whatever it takes! I would try bananas & maybe even some "boost" type drinks. That way, you are getting some nutrients. Feel better!

I have a 52 oz "Bubba Jug"...I fill it up with ice & water in the morning. I use a straw (seems to make it better). I drink it down 2, sometimes 3 times a day. I used to drink iced tea with lemon. Now I can't stand tea. It is just like everything else. It is a habit you get into. Give it some time, just like good food…

Sounds like a big success to me. That's is, after all, what we should be striving for. I am "proud" that you are working to make better choices. I am "proud" of you success so far. Keep us posted as time goes by. I would love to hear about more "successes". Thanks for the inspirational post. I would love to be your friend…

I have tried them all. I believe the best method is making a lifestyle change. Eat sensibly & add activity. Most of all be patient! It won' happen overnight. If you do all the above, it will come off & will stay off.

I do consider housework exercise! I do it with vigor & most times break a sweat. I also do elliptical training (moderate speed & resistance) for 30 minutes, cardio exercise 30 minutes, and ride a stationary bike 15 - 30 minutes, 5 to 6 days a week. I am 50 years old and when I walk the dog around the block & check my mail,…
