my beef is that i can stick (and lose) with 1200 calories, but i always end up hungry within a couple weeks, binge, and fall off the wagon! thanks for your post!

some people don't function as well on 1200 calories - that's still pretty low. why not bump it up to 1400 calories or so? are you exercising? sounds to me that your stomach is growling because...well, you're HUNGRY.

you're definitely not the only one! vaseline works wonders to help this! when i was training for my half this past year, my butt cheeks of all places rubbed raw! O.o i start marathon training in september and will be starting up again on the vaseline...

the walk-run method is great for larger individuals, and just anyone who isn't just yet in the proper cardiovascular shape. one note start off slow! i would also mention really watching your heart rate and staying at a comfortable pace. search up "the pose method" also :)

lean cuisines are great for portion control. recently, however, i've noticed that the healthy choice frozen dinners have less ingredients and consist of more things that i can actually pronounce! my favorites are the ravioli ones. :)

remember.... in order to have gained a true four pounds (of fat) in two days, you would have had to eat: seven THOUSAND calories over your MAINTENANCE each day. imo, there's nothing wrong with taking breaks. i take a break every 20 min or so to alleviate my numb, tingling feet and finish out a full 60 min workout this way. rocking your feet like one of the previous posters said also helps. also, try focusing hard on centering your weight toward the middle of your foot (between the…

i think it depends largely on your goal settings. if you want to lose 1 lb a week, note that in the proper settings. then don't worry about anything - when calculating your daily food total, if it tells you in green that you have 100 cals left, you can eat those 100 cals and still be running that 500 cal deficit you…

Yeah, I'll bet you burned a little more than that. Get a HRM to know for sure, otherwise underestimation is your friend when it comes to exercise calories.
