PICTURES- don't have to lose a lot to make a difference

Hey all-

This before/after was taken earlier this year, but I think it's worth re-posting. For those of you that think that a few pounds isn't a big deal, check this out. Obviously, there isn't a jar-dropping difference, but if you look at the two, there are certainly differences. There is a difference of only 7 pounds between the 2 pictures. In the picture in January, I weighed 160, and in the picture taken in March I weighed 153. So, the moral of the story is, take it slow, and be proud of every pound you lose. You can do this one step, and one pound, at a time. :flowerforyou:

Thank you. Haven't lost much since then, but I'm ok with it. I'm in no rush. Besides, I'm training for a half marathon, and I've found that for me (and the way my body works in relation to fueling my workouts) it's really difficult to do both- don't want to compromise a great run because I didn't eat enough calories. Anyhow, I'm getting off topic...

If you have any desire to do so, I would highly recommend taking pictures. I try to do mine the first Saturday morning of each month. It's really interesting to see and really can make you feel better. Sometimes, even if the scale isn't moving you can really see a difference in your photos!
